Desert Sunrise Family Dental

I have always had good dental visits. When the previous dentists and hygenists who worked here saw me, they had nothing but good things to say about my teeth. When I went in July of 2015, I was told I needed "2 or 3 fillings". I was a little surprised, but OK. So I scheduled to have them done in August. As I went in, they causually told me I needed 8 fillings! I was shocked and asked them why. They just told me to "calm down". They changed their mind and said OK we'll just do a couple today and maybe another 2-3 later. I allowed them to do 2 which was a hellish experience. They told me I must come in to do 3 more right away or they'd become root canals! I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I found another dentist who has been in business 30+ years with more than 100+ excellent ratings on many websites. He told me I had excellent dental health and needed NO fillings. I cannot believe Desert Sunrise tried to rip me off, steal my money, and put me through so much unnecessary pain! I wonder if I even needed the 2 I allowed them to do back in August. I am incredibly angry and am working to do what I can to let everyone know what they are doing. By the way, in the past 2 years they have changed staff so many times I can't even count. There are many great dental practices in the West Valley; even if they "change staff again" and tell you they are good now, you have no reason to trust them. Steer clear!
