To: Conciliation and Engagement Specialist I want to start by apologizing for our mistake in this matter We have been in business for almost years and we have never denied refunds or mislead anyone regarding money That is something Desert West Dance has integrity
about and we always give people their money back without question if a mistake was made Mr*** did enroll in a class online on April 6th, This was a new program for 2-year olds so there was not enough students to start the class We do not know when a class will fill up or when people register so their is no way of knowin when that will happen We usually just start the class but since this was year olds we felt it was better to wait until more kids enrolled Which we did talk to Mr*** We called him to notify you that there were not enough enrollment to start (He had stated in the complaint that he was told the class was full which is incorrect) and gave him the option of waiting for more enrollment or receiving a refund Mr *** choose to receive a refund My quickbooks records indicate we wrote him a refund check of and was cashed on April 15th, He also indicated weeks went by without anyone contacting him My receptionist keeps a log of calls made and we have a record of when she called Mr*** to leave messages regarding this matter She did indicate he did not want to give his card information over the phone so that is why we ended up mailing his refund check. A mistake did happen on our end and we did not take his daughter out of the class she origianlly signed up for online which we should have done And, since we require families to enroll in auto payment his card was then charged We actually owe him $as we can see now that we are aware of the problem We keep acutal logs of phone calls made from messages and our administration left him messages trying to return his call We are also availble by email which is the best way to reach us outside of business hours but we never received an email nor did he come into the studio We have no problem refunding his money and we did attempt to reach him Thank you,Desert West Dance
