HORRIBLE company and horrible service. Do yourself a HUGE favor and avoid renting any kind of property from those clowns. They do NOT care, they do NOT reply, they do NOT repair what needs to be repair and if they do- it takes 2 months. they just want you to pay rent and shut up. The way they treat tenants is outrages. I cant describe how bad was my experience with them! They made my renting period at that house the worse period of my life. I'm so glad I do not rent from them any more and I advise no one to rent through them.
All the bad reviews here about this company are 100% true. those people are clowns and they have no clue what they are doing.
Horrible company !! Please stay away from their properties!

It is no wonder that this business is not Revdex.com accredited. All you have to do is google "Desert Wide Properties Reviews" to find out why. Please be very careful when having them take your name off a lease. When my exhusband and I divorced, almost 4 1/2 years ago, I moved out of the household. I called Desert Wide to find out what I needed to do to get my name off the lease. I knew my ex was going to break the lease and I wanted no part in that at all. I explained this to the company and was told not to worry, they would take my name off the lease. I had no issues with them at all during the past 4 1/2 years. About a year ago my ex filed bankrupcy and his charge for breaking the lease with Desert Wide was included in that. Earlier this week I was checking my credit and noticed a delinquent account that had not been there last year. It was from Desert Wide. I called the collection agency to explain to them that I was not liable for this account. They explained to me that Desert Wide should have had me come in and fill out a Release Of Roommate form when they removed my name from the lease. I think this is shady and they took advantage of me not knowing the process to remove my name from the lease as I had never done it before. My mistake was relying on a business to be legit and honest with me. I called Desert Wide and not only could they not give me ANY information but would not let me speak to anyone in their accounting department. The lady I was speaking to had just put me on hold to speak to that department and when I asked to speak to them they were suddenly busy. Please please beware that this is a shady company. Make sure you research Arizona rental laws before dealing with them! Get everything in writing, everything documented so that 4 1/2 years later they don't also come after you!

Do not rent from this company.
We rented a house through Desert Wide for 2 years. When anything happens in regards to the property, Desert Wide has to play phone tag with the actual homeowner before any decisions can be made. The owner of the home we rented lived out of state and routinely took days/weeks to respond to any request.
It's inevitable that a property will need maintenance, however, their method of handling issues is appalling. When the refrigerator broke, Desert Wide took nearly a week to get it fixed. When asked repeatedly about the delay, Desert Wide pushed blame onto the owner, saying that a repair couldn't be completed until it was authorized by the homeowner. A refrigerator is a mandatory appliance deserving of an emergency fix. We ran into the same issue when our air conditioner broke in April; they only rushed the service request when I threatened to call my own repairman to fix it and withhold the cost from my rent.
Another side note, Desert Wide won't force the homeowner to actually repair the house when something breaks. We had several clay roofing tiles blow off the house in a storm, leaving others dangling off the side of the house, 20 feet in the air. Since the homeowner didn't want to pay to fix it, Desert Wide told us to deal with it and just avoid that side of the house.
The leasing agents, particularly Erica C[redacted], were very nice and helpful. Signing up was very smooth....but then you get handed off to an Account Manager. Whether we dealt with the Account Manager or the Maintenance Manager, it was nearly impossible to get anything accomplished in a timely fashion. Near the end of our lease, I simply stopped making maintenance requests, as they went completely unanswered. That didn't stop them from withholding a good chunk of my security deposit to fix the issues with the house they failed to respond to previously.
Please do not rent from this company. Don't be lured by the nice properties.

JUST moved into a house with this company. A LIST of problems found right after we moved in. DESERTWIDE told us they KNEW about the problems but yet FAILED to fix them. THEY have tried to blame us, the tenants, for the HEALTH HAZARDS that are in the house and now we have to submit 5 or 10 day LEGAL action paperwork to get ANYTHING done. I am kicking myself for not noticing these reviews. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY, THE OWNERS OF THESE HOMES HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE GETTING INTO AND NEITHER DO THE TENANTS. THEY DO NOT GET REPAIRS DONE ON TIME. We have been waiting one week shy of a MONTH for electrical repairs. ITS APPALLING. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE, DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE MANAGE YOUR HOME.

After leasing from this company all I can say is it was the worst mistake we ever made. Their business model is to get your money, make false accusations, and treat you as you are replaceable. I cannot recommend this company to anyone and I hope anyone stuck in a lease with them may find a way out as soon as possible. I could list many unethical situations we went through but it would be too long of a review. They need to be shut down.
