I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below. We have no problem with the MFR having our complaint "in house"..however, the fact is we have NEVER taken one single phone call FROM anyone at National Floors DirectWE are the ones making phones calls to THEM every two weeks, just for the recordNow let's see some actual action on this complaint and a visit from the MFR Rep to our homeWe have just ruined one more vacuum and we want this vacuum fixed in addition to our carpet complaint about a defect in the product.

[If you are rejecting the business's response please enter your rejection comments here.]..We understand that it is a manufacturers defect and that we must get a rep to look at carpet, however, as outlines, National Floors Direct have dragged theirfeet, no has called us , so we call them every two weeks, and still no actual appointment with a mfrs rep has been made and it is now almost Dec 2014.We need them to get an actual time to bring a rep to our home within days

The flooring that we installed in the customer's home is not faulty Moisture is causing the problem with the floor which is not covered under warranty This is why the claim was denied We cannot repair the floor free of charge and we cannot extend the customer's warranty as the
issue is not covered under warranty If the customer wants us to inspect the floor it will be a payable service

The floor is not buckling due to excessive moistureIf it was due to that there would be staining on the flooringNo staining is presentThe floor is buckling because of poor instillation that did not leave the appropriate spacing for expansion of the woodThis expansion did not happen until the summer as the weather was not warm when the floor was installedThe installers did not follow the instructions for installation from ***There should have been spacing of up to 1/inch at where the floor meets the wallThe flooring was not opened in the boxes and kept in the room where it was to be installed for at least hoursThis is all on the *** website for instructions on installing their productsThe installers did not abide by the manufactures installation instructionsWe expect the floor to be re-installed and at no cost.

This customer spoke to a manager about this issue at length yesterday We explained to the customer that the refunds are issued in business days and we would be sending out her refund

If the customer has a problem with the product or installation they will need to fill out a claim form and proceed through the claims process

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #[redacted]. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. However, I will submit a new complaint if, after someone comes to look at the floors, no action is taken to rectify the lifting vinyl tiles and incredibly obvious carpet seams.

To whom it may concern, I , Germaine [redacted] am responding to National Floor Direct Response. The problems with this company began on August 28th when their installers did not show up to install the flooring in which I had already given them a deposit of One thousand three hundred and twenty four dollars. They did not call or show up, I in turned called the company, where I was given two different stories, by two different people. The first time I called I was told the persons who needed to break up my tiles did not come in... then I called later trying to find out what was the resolution and was then told the materials were not in, needless to say the installation was not done that day. I later received a call saying I would be the first stop on Thursday, August 31st between 9& 12.... I received a call 8:20 that morning saying the installers would be there between 9 & 12....again no one showed up . and no one called. I called the first company again, about 12:15 ... and was then told the installer had a medical emergency. I was yet again rescheduled... now a week later on Thursday, September 7... the installers finally actually show up and demand the balance paid in full... I at this point had returned to work so I left my husband and mother in charge. Upon ordering this Flooring I stated to [redacted] that we would pay in full when the job was completed, he agreed. At this point my mother nor husband was comfortable with paying the balance in full when we had no finished product & hadn't even seen the merchandise. The installers called [redacted]... and [redacted] called me at work... I told him we where not comfortable and would not pay the balance in full without any work being done or completed. I told him I gave my mother permission to speak for me. After a back and forth conversation , [redacted] stated to me okay... your mom can give them the balance after... which was a cashiers check... we hung up... he then called my mother back and asked fir the balance in full again. I was on another line so I could hear her side of the conversation. In the end, she refused to pay them in full without any work being done in full. National Floors Direct had half of their payment in front, a plethora of excuses why the job couldn't be completed accordingly and all I had was a my living quarters turned upside down, the excuses they gave me, and out of 1,324 dollars. Hence the reason I was not at all compelled to pay them the balance in front without having a satisfactory hardwood floor installation, Regards,
[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] made no mention of attempting to change the terms of payment during the 2 confirmation calls leading up to the installation, during the call on the morning of the installation, or while the installation team was on site. There was another person at the installation - not a party to the agreement - that refused to pay. Ms. [redacted] consented again to the payment terms while on the phone with our cus[redacted]er service department but the party on-site refused.National Floors Direct remains ready, willing, and able, to deliver the order per the terms of the agreement with Ms. [redacted], but we cannot offer any refund at this time.
