I signed a contract with Walterson Roofing on 6/22/I was told by their contractor, Ryan, that they’d start construction the middle of the following weekThey have not yet started the jobI have called them about it once a week every week since then wanting to know what is going on and I have been getting the run aroundAt one point I asked them to just refund my money and I was told that if I cancelled the contract with them that they would be keeping 25% of what I paid them to do the job (I paid them $5,000.00)
On Oct3, Walterson Roofing started installation of our metal roof on our homeWE wanted a seamless no fasteners showingThey installed a plain metal barn roofIt was brought to the attention of the companyTheir installers were told them to continueWe were getting what we paid forIn our emails I asked if the price was for a standing seam with no fasteners showing and it was responded back to me in email that it was standing seam with no fasteners showingThe roof was installed,and screws were put through the inside ceiling of our log homeI went out and got both installers and made them aware what they had doneI also sent pictures of the damage to the ownerWE were very upset about this damageWe had just purchased our home in August of this yearThe company said they would take care of the damageWe have not heard from them about it
Then within hours we had two leaksI contacted the owner the moment I was aware of the leaksLater that day the company
