Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Mr H [redacted] is not being truthful in regards to the workmanship of this project nor is he truthful about the facts when final payment was madeIn fact the job is still not completed and Mr H [redacted] has been paid in fullHe was supposed to finish on Wednesday the 4th of November but failed to show up or callAs far as me being rude,agressive and combative with his crew it is completely falseHe sent inexperienced people and they were asking me how to do the jobWhen I responded they said they could not do it that wayIf they didn't want my input they should have just done the job like a professional would have done it and had me to sign off when completedNever once was MrH [redacted] on the jobsite to help his crew complete the job, instead he expected me to guide them throughAs for me going to his house uninvited I notified Mr H [redacted] that I would be bringing the balance in full on the morning of October 30th and I would need a receipt as paid in fullI also ask him when he could finish the job and he E-mailed me and said he would finish on the 4th but never showedWhen I delivered the payment as promised Mr H [redacted] came to the door, I handed him the check and told him I needed a receiptWe then proceeded to his kitchen counter where he tore off a piece of scrap paper to write a receipt, but looked at me and said are you going to withdraw the Revdex.com complaintI told him after the work was completed I would take care of itHe was very upset and said you know we are going to have trouble over thisI said is that right, and he responded yes that is rightAfter that he would not give me a receiptI explained to him that his crew didn't do the job as it should have been done and he went ballistic and st***ed using foul language and calling me namesHe is the one who got loud and vulger and told me to leaveOn my way to the door he shoved me and I pushed him off of me as I went out the doorIn good faith I hired Mr H [redacted] to do the job and never dreamed it would not be done properlyI am filing this complaint so other hard working honest people don't make the same mistake I did Regards, [redacted] [To ***ist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

Another lie by Mr*** These pictures were taken by me & my crew during time of construction I stand by my previous statements After being physically attacked by Mr [redacted] in my house, I don't plan on getting near him again

Mr*** entered into a contract to install new gutters on a residence Design Roof Services, LLC complied with the contract and installed new, 5" K-style metal gutters and downspouts Mr*** was very difficult with the crew members, being very rude, aggressive and combative with the
workers He continually complained about the method of work and means of installation, and continually threatened to not pay the invoice for the work The crews made every modification requested by Mr*** but he continually found additional things to complain about After spending double the time estimated for the job trying to please Mr***, the crews completed the work Mr*** sent an email to me stating that he was going to hire someone else to do the things he wanted done, and not pay me I mailed Mr*** a Preliminary Notice of Intent to Lien He then emailed me stating that he would bring payment to me in Carlsbad the next day.Mr*** came to my personal residence, uninvited, and gave me a check for final payment He asked for a receipt and I went into my house to get one Mr*** and his brother followed me into my home, again, uninvited He then began to verbally berate me in a very aggressive manner for "filing a lien" I told Mr*** that I did not file a lien, only a preliminary notice of intent to lien He continued verbally attacking me in a very aggressive stance He was belligerent, aggressive, threatening and unwilling to act civilly I then asked Mr*** to leave the premises As he approached the door, he turned into me with an aggressive posture, threatened to "kick my ***" and then pushed me to the floor He maintained a fighting stance as I arose and I again asked him to leave, which he finally did.Mr*** is an irate customer with an anger problem We did everything possible to try to please him, but he was not going to be pleased I believe Mr***'s modus operandi is to never pay a contractor full price, by continually complaining about whatever work is done so he doesn't have to finish paying the contractor When I called Mr***'s bluff, he got increasingly angry, drove to my house and physically assaulted me.Design Roof Services, LLC has an A+ rating with the Revdex.com and this complaint should be seen for what it is; a demeaning attempt at arbitrary retribution by Mr***

I stand by my original response Mr*** is not being truthful We spent double the estimated time trying to please Mr*** in every respect When it finally became obvious Mr*** was not ever going to be satisfied, we completed the job to industry standards We took pictures as verification, which I have uploaded Mr *** showed his true colors when he assaulted me in my own homeThe Carlsbad City Police have tried to contact Mr*** in this regard, but he continues to hide from them Mr*** is not to be believed in anything he says because he is untruthful, argumentative, contentious, belligerent, combative & pugnacious He got an exceptional job at a very reasonable price

Verbal Update:The business did not take pictures, the pictures provided are ones that the I took and provided to the business. I paid the money in full and the repairs promised in the email are still unfinished as they did not return after payment to make the promised repairs. Also the 10 splash pans have not been delivered. The gutters are not sealed and they leak at the seams.
