Per the customer's request, proof of the bond is attached If any additional information is required please contact me directly at [redacted] Brian H [redacted] ControllerOwl Homes of FredoniaPH: [redacted]

Customer has been complaining about her siding since she purchased the house She feels that she did not receive the color she wanted and has been coming up with any reason(s) to have it all replaced The customer and sales associate went over the detailed conformation order prior to the house being ordered and she signed off on it The color of the siding is what she ordered As for customer's complaints about the siding we have had both the factory as well as our subcontracted [redacted] & siding go to her house and correct the issues she wanted corrected Based on both the factory's and [redacted] reports to us the siding issues have been corrected and all work is complete at this time

All items that customer was complaining about have been completed and they have their certificate of occupancy

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While it is correct that we have received our certificate of occupancy I reject the claim that the things we have been "complaining" about have not been resolved There are MULTIPLE things on the interior of the home that need attention and we are now going on months since the home has been on the foundation For example, and I have multiple emails to corroborate this claim:There is moulding throughout the home that is in need of repair. The french doors to the master bedroom have yet to be repaired so that they actually close. The carpet is still ripped up in the living room and I have small children for which this poses a danger toThe grout in the master shower has been cracked and has fallen out so that the shower is not in usable condition without causing water damage behind the tiles so we are showering in the guestroomMost if not all of the tile grout on the master bath are cracked and have not been repaired. We are still waiting for the replacement island counter top which we have been told multiple times would be done The last time given to us was the week of July 18th and it is not done as of August 1There is a broken pull out shelf in the pantryThere is a drawer in the island that does not pull outWe are experiencing flooding in the basement every time we have rain due to a lack of any sort of drainage at the bottom of the bilco stairs and/or inadequate sealing, no one has been out to look at this problemThe door to one of the kids rooms has still not been replaced. All in all we are extremely disappointed with experience and are not sure what else we can do at this point to get any of the above taken care of short of involving an attorney which we have not done thus far But after the stress and anxiety that we have been forced to, and continue to suffer legal action may not be out of the question at this time Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] todayHe stated the bond is not mentioned in the contract and he does not owe any moneyThe company should have incorporated the bond into the contracted priceHe is requesting the title as the house is paid in fullHe put a $deposit down and is requesting proof of the bond being purchased

[redacted] came into Owl Homes of Fredonia to purchase a home in her initial discussion with Pat (saleman), money was an issue and she only wanted to spend so much.***'s brother then became involved in assisting [redacted] and told her she needed a steeper roof pitch to accommodate the snow... load.***'s original plan was to put the home on a pier foundation and install the basement later on, her brother talked her into doing the basement now. With these 2 options that were added she exceeded what she wanted to spend and did not want to spend anymore. The siding that she is referring to is an added option and again [redacted] did not want to spend anymore after those 2 options were added. Our sales person did slot the home however the manufacturer will not build a home without a signed confirmation that has the sales person signature and the buyers signature. [redacted] was aware in the beginning of her loan that she would be getting money back after the project was complete and the expenses were finalized. On December 12, 2016 [redacted] and her brother came into Owl Home of Fredonia sat with [redacted] and [redacted] went over the complete project. At that point a refund was issued to [redacted] and a release was signed by [redacted] waiving Owl Homes of Fredonia of any further obligations.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe color of the house has nothing to do with the siding that was coming off The company did not respond to my Revdex.com complaint or calls until I showed up at their office after months of being ignored to get something repairedThen and only then was something done and now a nasty reply was sent by the bookkeeper Brian I did not file a complaint about the color, I was filing a complaint because the siding was buckling and I just needed it fixed as it is under warranty It took filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, contacting Dominick (the owner), calling them, emails, taking pictures and finally going down to their office where I was told "we are not replacing or fixing anything" by Brian This bookkeeper is extremely nasty and instead of passing along the problem to Jason to get fixed he just yells It was finally fixed by Jason after he came up, took pictures and agreed it needed fixed It was a simple fixThe company is just mad because I wasn't happy with how they did business and expect them out live up to warranties They tried many times to pull a fast one over a woman buying a houseIf the house is under warranty, they must fix itIts part of selling houses Don't like it, get out of the businessRegards, [redacted]

As you requested, I have sent Owl Homes of Fredonia an email and asked them to email me a digital copy of my purchase agreement, which I'm sure has the Owl Homes of Fredonia's warranty, at that time, for my on the back I have also sent them a certified letter requesting a copy of my purchase agreement I am sure Owl Homes of Fredonia is eager to resolve my complaint and will be sending the purchase agreement to me within just a few days and I will forward a copy to you so the complaint process can proceedThank you for helping me with my complaint If you have any questions please email me at [redacted]

In response to the complaint ID# [redacted] filed by [redacted] , please see the attached documents which include our initial response to the complaint.Submitted 3/17/at 10:amI am contacting you in regards to the consumer's complaint that was sent to our office on March 10, Here is our reply. On June 2, 2014, Owl Homes of Fredonia was hired by [redacted] to install skylights for his homeThe skylights were installed for customerSkylights had zero issues with any leaks for monthsThe first issue we had with the skylights February 25, when Mr [redacted] called to inform us that the skylights that were installed were leakingOn February 26, 2015, Owl Homes of Fredonia employees went to inspect issue with skylights and make any necessary repairsWhen Owl Homes of Fredonia employees got to the customer's home they found that ice had built up on roof from drip edge to base of skylight approximately 1;2' high, and about a W' thickDue to the variable causes of ice build up the issue is not warrantedOwl Homes of Fredonia employees also found that water was pooling where the skylight and ice and metThe ice was chipped away to form drainage to relieve the water from causing any further damage to Mr [redacted] 's homeUpon inspection in home there were water spots on Mr [redacted] 's drywall ceilingsNo drywall cracks were found at this timeIt is unclear whether the waterdamage on the ceiling was caused from the skylights or the failing roofAs per Owl Homes of Fredonia employee's inspection; found that the water damage was more towards the outside exterior wall of his home and only a little in the proximity of the skylightsOwl Homes of Fredonia employee's feel that ice damming was just a result in the leaking that he had but highly weather shingles makes it very unclear whether it came from the skylight or the surrounding areasPhoto #taken by Mr [redacted] , complaints shown are cauking and insulation showingPer Owl Homes of Fredonia, all nail holes need to be caulkedAs far as the insulation showing, the insulation a cutting in of skylight was done by the manufacturer of the homeAny gaps in sheathing were from the manufacturerOwl Homes of Fredonia did a direct replacement of skylight with no alterations to the structure of the homePhoto #taken by Mr [redacted] is showing his complaint of now sealant and again seeing plywood and drywallOwl Homes of Fredonia on Photo #did highlight the area as to where the sealant is placedOwl Homes of Fredonia does not want to over seal it so the rubberized roofing cement is oozing out all over the placeSeeing the drywall and plywood again is direct from the manufacturer that built his homePhoto #taken by Mr [redacted] complaints are the Protecto wrap, sealant, and seeing drywall and plywoodThe Proteco wrap is an underlayment that just goes under the shingleWe have again already addressed the issues with the sealant and seeing of drywall and plywood in previous picturesPhoto #taken by Mr [redacted] again already addressed in previous statements abovePhoto #taken by Mr [redacted] the exposed staple is on factory installed sheathing and is not affected by any external weather due to the protection of the skylightYou can see the staple by looking down through the skylight by standing on the roof looking downAgain Owl Homes of Fredonia did direct replacements of the skylights and no alteration to thehome structure was done by Owl Homes of Fredonia and was done by the manufacturer of the homePhoto #taken by Mr [redacted] again is the same concern as his other complaints that have been addressed above with Owl Homes of Fredonia just doing a replacement and no alterations to the structure of the homeIn Owl Homes of Fredonia received a phone call from Mr [redacted] to Owl Homes of Fredonia's Construction Forman, [redacted] Mr [redacted] stated to [redacted] that the hot water tank stack was leaking [redacted] did an inspection and found that the stack was not leaking but the hot water tank that was in Mr [redacted] 's home had failed and was leaking at the hot outlet pipe that was part of the hot water tank causing water to pool up on the floor and set off some water sensing alarms that Mr [redacted] has put into his homeAs far the issue with the microwave vent it has been one year plus since we have heard of any such reports of water leaking into his microwaveHe did contact our office on January 16, and again this was the first that we were hearing of such an issueOwl Homes of Fredonia has been out to Mr [redacted] 's home for other service and it was never brought to Owl Homes of Fredonia's attention that there were any issues with his microwave ventThe vent had gone through an ice storm, a snow storm, winters, rain storms and no issues were mentioned or reported to Owl Homes of Fredonia until January 16, To address the issue with Owl Homes of Fredonia replacing Mr [redacted] 's roofthe informationthat he provide was correct and Owl Homes of Fredonia did not want to do Mr [redacted] 's roofOwl Homes of Fredonia's Construction Manager, [redacted] , explained to Mr [redacted] that Owl Homes of Fredonia is not a roofing company, that Owl Homes of Fredonia can do repairs on the roofs but do not want to be responsible for a whole tear off and new roof* [redacted] did offer to provide Mr [redacted] names and phone numbers of roofing companies that would be able to assist Mr [redacted] with his roof but Mr [redacted] refused the offerOwl Homes of Fredonia did want to cut ties with Mr [redacted] , Owl Homes of Fredonia just does not want to create any future work for Mr [redacted] due to the series of complaints with workmanship of Owl Homes of FredoniaOn August 15, Mr [redacted] had an issue with the candy cane vents that Owl Homes of Fredonia installed for bathrooms and kitchenThe stacks were custom made taller per customers request again as snow is heavier on that side of the homePhoto #is an Owl Homes of Fredonia service requested for the installation of hot water tank stack and installation of brackets for PVC pipesPhoto #taken by Mr [redacted] was prior to Owl Homes of Fredonia repairs to stacksAll PVC vents had received brackets a piece that was willing offered by Mr [redacted] At the time the PVC vents were installed [redacted] was unsure the type of bracket that he wanted to use for supportAgain Mr [redacted] offered the brackets that he had for Owl Homes of Fredonia to useBack to Photo #7, work was completed and signed by Mr [redacted] showing his satisfaction of work completedOwl Homes of Fredonia did install a new furnace stack extension not a complete furnace pipe install, differences being we put a taller pipe from the existing roof boot to raise height of stack per customer's request due to the heavy amounts of snow that he receives on that side of the homeOwl Homes of Fredonia did not replace the roof flangeA complete furnace stackextension would require a pipe that would run from the top of the furnace through the roof and would have a new roof flange and a top extension that would be attached as a separate piece to obtain a variable height. In closing since receiving this letter we have tried to contact Mr [redacted] to discuss exactly his complaints and concerns to try to get this resolved but he has not returned our calls and or had hung up on usWe contacted him March 14-16, and there has been no communication with him at this pointRespectfully Submitted,Dominic ABellanti, President

June 10,2016Revdex.comBryant Woods SouthAmherst, NY 14225716-881-[redacted] ***Dear [redacted] I am writing in response to your complaint that you received on June 10, ID number [redacted] from [redacted] *** I am informing you that the person that was in contact with you and made the complaint was not the customer of Owl Homes of FredoniaThe customer that is associated with this complaint is Brian [redacted] and he was the only person on our contract but I am going to address the issues from [redacted] to let you know where this stands.Mr [redacted] did sign the contract with Owl Homes of Fredonia in August However there were issues with financing and they did not physically close the loan until December December the home was ordered with the manufacturer of the home and the time frame to be built is roughly 6-weeksThe home was delivered to the customer's site at [redacted] *** [redacted] *** [redacted] February 4, Due to inclement weather the home was not physically set on the customer's foundation until February 24-25, Once the home is set it take approximately another 6-weeks for the home to be finished for constructionWith doing homes in the winter the time frame does increase and will take approximately 2-weeks longer because of weather conditions.Once the home was set from my understanding a deck and stairs were to be constructed forAs per the contractor that was hiredMr [redacted] was unsure at the time if they were going to just pour a patio and or build a deck off the back of the homeIt was not until May 4, that MrLords decided that they would be building the deck off the backOnce the contractor received notification that he was to build a deck he then needed to still order all the materials for the steps to have it builtMaterials were shipped to the site on May 25, Once materials were ordered it took an approximately weeks for the deck to be constructedThe deck and steps have been constructed and are done.Currently there is a punch list of a few items that still need to be addressed and our plan once the items are taken care of is to contact the building inspector to do the walk through so we can get a Certificate of Occupancy and get the customer into their new home.Sincerely,Del B***
