Review: I purchased two salon chairs from Design X - the chairs took 6 months to arrive after being told by the company explicitly that it would take 10 weeks. Active communication with the company continued to state the product would take 10 weeks but ultimately 6 months. Further, after 15 months -- though the chairs had no specific weight limits or cautionary statements - and though the chairs were not used in any unreasonable manner nor were the patrons who sat in the chair overweight, the chairs cracked down the middle of the seat (in chair one) and down the center of the seat (in chair two). The patrons were completely embarrassed and the chairs cannot be used. When I contacted the company, the representative said they would check with the manufacturer. They then responded that since the issues did not arise within the one year warranty, there was nothing they could do. I find this absolutely unacceptable in light of the price paid, the quality of the products represented, and the type of defect incurred - reasonable use of the product led to the break in the chairs, the potential injury to my patrons, and now unusable chairs.Desired Settlement: I request that the chairs either be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
