Review: Car that we had been told only had been in one previous accident with minor rear fender issue with no air bags being deployed and had 2 previous owners. Turns out had 3 owners, been declared unsalvageable once and significant damage two other times. Car lacked air bags, when we bought it there was a crack in the windshield that dealership hid with a sticker, so we didn't notice it when we test drove it. Was MISSING the communication system that linked airbags and more than likely was missing air bags as well. We were told they had the car inspected that day, but cars cannot pass inspection with a crack in windshield. They told us the only thing wrong with the car was that the latch to open trunk was missing but they would give us the part and a check for it as well (never received part). We were transferring plates from old car, but didn't realize one was in my name and the other in my husband's. A week later, they called to say we would have to get new plates and they would send them right away. Three weeks went by, no plates. They are ducking my calls. After finally receiving plates, took car to authorized dealership and they told me that the car looks like it had been underwater (they found rust in places which they should not have found rust).Desired Settlement: As the dealership waited until the 30 return was up to give me plates so I could drive the car (because it was illegal to do so with plates that were not allowed to be transferred), they deliberately tried to prevent me from finding out what was wrong with the car and asking for a refund. Want complete refund along with money I spent to fix windshield and seatbelt.

Review: on the first days of October of 2013 I bough a 1999 Lexus RX 300 at designers auto at [redacted] the sale rep was [redacted] I paid $5,900 on a check when we first saw the car it had all the pieces on its place but when we went to pick up the car two covers were missing I call the dealer and ask for the pieces and they told me that they had the pieces and they will put them in place it is almost valentine's day and they never call to make and appoiment to put the missing pieces I call and call and there its always an excuse to do not put them back and if thah was not enough the first week that we had it the engine light turn on meaning that something was wrong whit the car and the car was on one month guaranty I stared to called them again to made them fix the car and nothing this its the reason for my complain thanks for you help.Desired Settlement: [redacted] have to call me and apologize and fix the car and put the missing pieces that they take from the car and replace the sensor that its wrong in the car that was under guaranty from designer auto, or give me back $3,500.00 to fix the car my self.

Review: Saturday October **,2013 I left a $800.cash binder on a 2004 Range Rover to [redacted] of Designer Autosport Inc.. I specifically asked if I changed my mind could I get my binder refunded. He said yes! I asked to test drive the vehicle, [redacted] said" he didn't have license plates for the car". The main location at [redacted] had all license plates, his location just recently opened". He asked us to come back the next day to test drive. The next day [redacted] still didn't have the plates. The week passed and on Saturday Nov.* we went to the car lot and it was empty. I called and went to their Bay Shore address. The Range Rover was there in that lot. I was told I could still buy the SUV or get my $800 binder returned. Two weeks ago I decided I didn't want a car note for a 10 year old car. I called Designer Autosport Inc. repeatedly and no answer. I went to the lot Sat.3/* and Sun3/*/14 they were closed. Monday 3/*/14 I called and spoke to [redacted] and he said "bring your receipt and you'll get your refund". I took my receipt to get my $800. refund and [redacted] was very rude, abusive and refused to give back my deposit. He made up reasons why he couldn't refund my binder.My girlfriend and I called 911. [redacted] came and took the complaint #[redacted]. I want my $800. binder returned immediately! How many other people has Designer Autosport Inc. done this to?Desired Settlement: I want my $800. binder refunded immediately! I have my receipt. Designer Autosport Inc. should be shut down.
