I took my little pound Shih Tzu to Designer Paws on Saturday, 2/21/to be groomed she had some mats in her hair – I SPECIFICALLY told *** the owner NOT to shave her down because she shakes with no hair and especially in this frigid weatherI told her I don’t care what she looks like if she cuts different spots out but I DO NOT want her shaved down When I got her back she was shaved down to practically NO hair I have taken *** there a couple other times and she has cut her too short that’s why I made it clear not to shave her But she just did what she wanted to do – I called her today and she made excuse after excuse why she did it – I said I told you NOT to do that and I also questioned my bill and (because they email the bill to you and I had not looked at it until yesterday)why she charged me $for a full groom and then charged an extra $for demat/brush/strip when all she did was shave the hair off and I had to cut a big piece of matted hair off her ear that she had missed She just ended up nasty and said to take my business elsewhere and hung up on me She also does not bath my dog – I bathed my dog before I took her inI have taken *** to other groomers that have NEVER shaved her down like that and she looked fine but Designer Paws didn’t do what I asked and now my dog is suffering from being so cold and shaking non-stop even with a sweater on The temperatures have been way below zero outside and now my dog is suffering thanks to Designer Paws not listening to what I told them to do which was NOT to shave my dogs hair off I will NEVER go back to that place again!
I feel like she did not give me the service that I asked for and charged me more then she should have for what she did – I was totally unhappy with the service I received which was not what I asked for I wish I could post pictures of how blurred down she was - you can still see her skin - it's horrible! You would think she would have offered to refund my $ and tip since I was so unhappy but she kept all of it - had I known how bad *** looked I wouldn't have paid or given her a tip but I paid before I got her back
