Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintAfter the original work was done, the customer called to say there were a few minor areas to be touched upHer biggest concern was "air bubbles" on the sink topsThis was actually dust that had settledAt my second visit, I performed the
work, telling the customer that I was leaving plastic up to prevent any dust coming in and settling on the newly reglazed surfacesAlso, I left instructions not to go in the bathrooms for a few hours, as it would stir up more dust and I would have to come back out to buff it outAt the time, the customer was OK with me coming out a third time if neededAnd at that point, it was all very minor touch up work anywayThe reglazing work performed was for large projects which could possibly have minor imperfections as told verbally to the customer originally, and in writing on the back of our warranty sheetWhen I arrived at my second visit, the customer seemed to want the whole job resprayedEven though I did not agree with this, in trying to please the customer, I coated everything againShe called my office after I left to say that one tub still looked beige instead of white, in one section, and she wanted me back right awayWe did not get the message until the next dayThe product had been wet and at this point was dry, so I thought the color issue resolved itself, since I knew I had put multiple coats on and it had to be whiteWe did not hear back from the customer again until she attempted to reverse the entire charge on her credit cardAt that point, we called and left a message with the customer stating that we could come back and fix any issues, however, we never heard back from herI stated before that I am willing to go back againThis customer has been very vague in explaining exactly what the problem isAnything with reglazing can be fixed and I don't mind fixing imperfections in the surface in the effort to make the customer happyTo refund all her money when she now has multiple surfaces with finishes 100% better than what she started with, is unacceptable

Thanks for the opportunity to respond to this complaint again. As I stated before in the last response, on the follow up visit the customer had extremely minor issues but wanted the whole project resprayed over againIn an effort to try to make her happy, I did almost a complete respray. I told her at the time that I left that I may have to come back to do minor touch ups since it was almost a complete respray. She didn't have a problem with that at the time, I don't understand what has changed, that there is such a problem now. We have never seen any pictures and the customer has not tried to call us and discuss what the problem isWe are not rude to our customers, however, Joan may have been upset when we got notice that a customer was trying to deny payment for a large job without first notifying us about any problemsWe tried to call the customer and resolve the issue, but she never returned our callWe came out on a Sunday without charging any extra for that, just for the convenience of the customer. Why she is all of a sudden mentioning a hardship with taking off is beyond me. Like I stated in the previous letter, everything mentioned is a very minor, extremely small touch up in a few spots (unfair not paying for). Very easily remedied I am very willing to come and fix this project, even scheduling a Sunday to please this customer Please keep in mind that my warranty sheet states that "Reglazing is a spray on application and subject to minor imperfections due to environmental conditions." This was a large job and we will not refund all her money when everything can be fixed
