This is an update to the below complaint…… We have settled this with Mr. [redacted].A check in the amount of $3100.00 will be cut and mailed to him on Tuesday 5/30.  Thanks,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. The company made me jump through hoops for 6 months and it took contacting the Revdex.com to get them to start working toward a resolution. I provided them with 6 quotes to fix the flooring all within bounds of each other on pricing. They said the damage could be fixed in a different manner than was suggested by every professional who came to my home to provide an estimate. They sent their own contractor into my home and he said they wanted a cheap fix. He agreed with the previous 6 contractors in how the floor should be fixed correctly to put it in the condition it was in prior to them entering my home. I showed him the other quotes and he said they were all in bounds as to why he would prove it at and that it was beyond his scope and capabilities. Designs In stone / [redacted] said he couldn't fix it because it was an abnormal finish (cabin/industrial style) and didn't want to pay for a proper fix. After a few back and forths with them over a few days and after growing weary of a company lacking the integrity to do the right thing and repair the damages they caused after SIX CONTRACTORS all said the same thing...I finally accepted a check from them for $3100 just to be able to move beyond this mess. I will pay for the balance of the repairs out of pocket and will never recommend that anyone do business with Designs In stone or [redacted] (same company/owner). The owner never replied to a single email even when his own customer service rep asked that he respond to me. Quality, Custiner Service, Integrity...those traits within an organization come from the top down and this company lacks each or they would have paid for the total repairs, despite the cost, after I provided an absurd number of estimates to them. So yes I have reached a settlement but no it was not a satisfactory resolution.
