I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In regards to your response, there was not a accusation made in regards to the drug raidThe owners house AND the gym were raidedHe was arrested and his girlfriend, ***, who lives with him and was the GM of Desired Physiques WAS indictedThe gym WAS closed for days after the raidEaster is on SundayNot even government employees take days off for Easter I took it upon myself to cancel my membership because of the above mention of criminal activityWe were told we could cancel without issues on*** by Desired Physiques The GM, *** was who I dealt with in regards to my personal information and bank account informationMy husband and I felt our information was no longer safe in lieu of the recent criminal activities revolving the owner My account became "delinquent" as*** likes to claim because they refuse to allow me to cancel and continue to bill meI requested to cancel in April the first chance I got after they reopened and that should be my final month which is and was prepaid upon joiningI was advised the gym was trying to bill me another month and because they already stated to their members on*** we could cancel our contract without issues, I feel the gym should honor thatI never "slandered" this gymI simply repeated what they statedI have screen shots where they took to social media aka*** and released a statement as well as answered the members concerns of cancelation of contractsBecause they stated they would allow their members to cancel WITHOUT issues and contract penalties, my account needs to be closed without further delay and no money is due to this establishmentPlease see screen shot attached.

Dear Revdex.com, In regards to complaint i.d.*** and the accusations imposed on Desired Physiques Fitness Center and employees by the news and social media. The business nor did the employees have a part in this alleged accusation. The club and the
staff took it upon themselves to close the gym early prior to Easter to help refocus the staff and the club to help better service our members. In regards to the member making a personal decision based off these acquisitions and rumor’s to cancel the membership and cancel their form of payment. These actions resulted in her account becoming delinquent we were unable to process the request to cancel which we advised with a cancellation request it is a day notice required in which there would still be one last draft. Then the following month would be prepaid due to the first and last month down, and then following that month is when the membership would have been cancelled. Member was advised of this and did not like the response given and informed club she would reach out to all sources to slander desired physiques fitness center and staffDesired Physique Fitness Center followed the policies and procedures to the best of its ability and feel all steps were taken to help this matter get resolved. In regards to your response, there was not a false accusation made in regards to the drug raid. The owners house AND the gym were raided. He was arrested and his girlfriend, [redacted], who lives with him and was the GM of Desired Physiques WAS indicted. The gym WAS closed for 4 days after the raid. Easter is on Sunday. Not even government employees take 4 days off for Easter.  I took it upon myself to cancel my membership because of the above mention of criminal activity. We were told we could cancel without issues on[redacted] by Desired Physiques.  The GM, [redacted] was who I dealt with in regards to my personal information and bank account information. My husband and I felt our information was no longer safe in lieu of the recent criminal activities revolving the owner.  My account became "delinquent" as[redacted] likes to claim because they refuse to allow me to cancel and continue to bill me.
