Hello,
The following company owes me a refund for my flight. Here is the details.
Trip Details:
The initial date of deposit for the trip:
12/13/2019
The trip will begin on:
12/17/2019
Total Trip Cost:
$1,675.15
Due to mechanical issues on the flight, 70 passengers were told to take another flight. I was one of the passengers that got impacted. I had not flown and hence never travelled to see my sick mother. She passed away anyways and that is besides the point. I had called the credit card company Chase to dispute it and they had sent me the credit temporarily. We then confirmed with DESMO travel agency, that I should cancel the dispute with Chase so they can refund me directly. So I ended up cancelling the dispute, chase took back the credit and I have still not received the check from DESMO. They keep saying they have not gotten payment from Chase. Here is the email from the President confirming the check to me:-

I am going to check one more time with bank on Monday. This dispute has got somewhere lost and have not received any credit yet. But if not, I will work with you on Tuesday to sort this out.

As per the account department they said they have not received any money from your bank. Kindly call your bank and if then can transmit this information so the refund can be processed at the earliest.

Mr. bought ticket from us on Dec. 13, 2019 for $1675.15. On Dec. 17, 2019, on his travel date, flight got cancelled and requested for refund. As flight was cancelled, we requested refund from airline. On Dec 31, 2019 – we informed Mr. refund is approved by airline and will receive credit in 10-14 business days. Mr. agreed to it on Dec 31, 2019 (below screen shot). But Mr. had already DISPUTED the charge of $1675.15 on Dec 29, 2019 that we were unaware of and not informed. (Below screenshots of charges Credit/Debit from our account). We informed Mr. about disputed charge and he called his bank to reverse the dispute so refund could be processed on Jan 11, 2020. Since then, we have not got disputed amount reversed into our account. This disables us to process refund as Mr. have already received amount via Dispute as per our Merchant account. Below screenshot shows that we have always responded and attempted to resolve the issue. I personally offered Mr. to get his bank on Conference call along with myself and my Merchant to resolve the issue but Mr. has not agreed to same. (Enclosed email from March 31, 2020). We are here to help and in business for over 15 years. We work with small service fee and there is no reason to process the refund but in this case, Mr. DISPUTED the charge before he could receive the refund. I can understand Mr.’s frustration, but we cannot process refund of $1675.15 as we are already out of $1675.15 Disputed charge as of Dec 29, 2020. I am still available to resolve the issue if Mr. could get his bank on conference all along with myself and I will bring my merchant on the call to verify the reversal of the charge, so this issue could be resolved.
