Review: I ordered a Bleu Cheese burger online from there and it was missing everything but the patty and bread. And there was a slimy grey substance on my patty.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money I spent ($15.57) at this establishment. I tried asking the manager for one, but he got belligerent with me and hung up on me! The restaurant itself is a disgusting and has rats running around the restaurant.

I am writing this letter in regards to a complaint filed on 11/10/2Q13 and was assigned an ID of [redacted], As the owner of Desperados Burgers and Bar I was saddened to read the complaint that was filed by one of our customers. This customer has been ordering with us for quite some time and has had 6 previous delivery orders. This particular order she is referring to was provided exactly as she requested. We still have a copy of her order and she requested that we leave everything off her burger. We prepared her meal the way she wanted it. We have never had any complaints on the freshness of our meat and produce. We order high quality fresh meat regularly and we grind/prepare it fresh daily. We would never serve our customers old or spoiled food.

I am also extremely offended by her claiming that we have rats. I don't think her comments are warranted and they are simply coming from a place of anger. We have regular health inspections and have never violated any such codes. We also use [redacted] Pest Control regularly to avoid any such problems. We pride ourselves on keeping our establishment clean and sanitary. No one has ever complained of rats or uncleanliness. I don't think my business would be where it is today if we had rats roaming the corridors.

When she initially called to complain, she did not speak to a manager because there was no manager on duty. She was speaking to an employee who was just doing his job. hie asked her to simply return the food and we would gladly replace it or give her a full refund-At this point she became belligerent and cussed at him. He asked her to not cuss at him or he will be forced to hang up. She continued to swear and belittle the employee until he could no longer take it. She was not willing to cooperate with him and he is not equipped to handle that type of vulgarity. I assure you the employee who spoke to her is as nice as can be. He has been working for me for years and 1 have never received a single complaint about him. He is a humble, hardworking, respectful, kind man and he would never cuss at anyone.

When I was made aware of the situation I called her immediately so we can come to a resolve. Unfortunately she never returned my call or acknowledged my voicemail. We were more than willing to solve the problem for her but I think she was far too angry to hear us out. I am still willing to resolve this matter with her because I would never want to upset anyone this way. I am more than willing to return her $15.57 if it makes her happy but I will not allow her to disrespect my employees or discredit my business with her fabrications.

I appreciate the chance to explain my side and I hope this does not affect the credibility of my establishment or reflect poorly on us with the Revdex.com, Thank you for your time and I look forward to a response.
