I truly regret that this issue has come to thisThe reason we did not handle this on our own was due to the way Mr*** treated my office staffHe called them several names that were highly inappropriate and offensiveThis was very upsetting and shockingAt that point we didn't want to talk
to him anymoreWe care about our customer's experience and always do a professional jobThe "time and material option" is always going to be less expensive than if we give a bid for a set priceIf I give a bid for a set price it is going to be high enough to cover unseen issuesI professionally believe that he got a quality job at a reasonable priceGas lines are our specialtyWe worked for ONG and Evans Utilities for years doing gas linesMy men were working the whole time and I have receipts for all of the material usedI am willing to accept everything he has offered as payment except the generator repair.When my men pulled up to the house there was no electricity and Mr*** was using a generator which he said we could plug intoThe generator kicked offWhen my plumbers told him about it he stated that he knew about the generator and that it did that all the timeWe did nothing to the generator to damage it.I do not dispute repairing the sheet-rockTypically we always get in writing that we do not do sheet-rock repairThere was no getting around cutting the sheet-rockWe do all of our work up to city and state codesThe way Mr*** suggested us to install the pipe was not up to codeI agree to hire someone of my choosing to repair the sheet-rockI am only agreeing to this because we did not have a written estimateWe do plumbing work on a day to day basis and have to cut sheet-rock, flooring and tileIt is unfortunate that the house had just been redone but there was no way around that.I sincerely hope we can resolve this in a professional mannerThis conflict has been bothering me for several days and I would like it resolved.In response to Mr***'s comment about us getting to the job right away, we have a pretty consistent business and happened to have extra time that particular dayWe always welcome new customers
