I signed up with 1 travel agency - the name changed to Destination Vacations 365. They also have a renewal yearly fee in which they call daily about. They harass me constantly - they threaten with fees & other charges - saying I can never cancel or it will it add up indefinitely. Desired SettlementI want to close my account with a ZERO balance - this is a SCAM!

Have not been able to get advertised "free" airline tickets for attending their sales presentationWe attended a sales presentation under the pretense that we would receive free airline tickets. Received and e-mail tonight that the program was not funded by this company and no tickets will be issued. They also promised free hotel stay which sort of happened but with MAJOR hassles and several fees. Desired SettlementWe want the promised airline tickets as we have planned a trip and now have no airline tickets and or pay me for my time. I charge $150 per hour as does my wife. At $150 per hour for two hours for both of us our reimbursement would be $600 at the minimum. I have spent many more hours on this fiasco then 4, more like 10+Business Response Dear Revdex.com,Dear Revdex.com,In regards to the complaint filed, we purchased air vouchers from a company called [redacted] who then pay [redacted] is the travel center that fulfills the redemption of the air vouchers. In this case, [redacted] notified us that [redacted] never paid [redacted] for the vouchers. We obviously paid [redacted], and have receipts of payment, otherwise we would not have been able to give these vouchers out during our vacation club presentation. Since then we cut all ties with [redacted] and work with another voucher company called[redacted] which is fulfilling air vouchers for its clients. The client pays the taxes and fees for the vouchers to [redacted]. Since [redacted] is no longer fulfilling their product, the air vouchers in questions, they are refunding all of their clients all the money that they paid. We let the clients know that the travel center, [redacted], is refunding them all of their money back, and if they like we would be able to replace those vouchers with that of the[redacted] vouchers. Since this complaint stems from those vouchers, we ask that our name be removed from this complaint and be directed towards the company in question.[redacted] E [redacted] 100[redacted], AZ 85260-2529480-467-3316If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly.Sincerely,[redacted]Director of Client ServicesDestination Vacations 365888-830-4385Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I am sorry that DV365 is having problems with their associate companies. If I as dealing with these other companies or they had offered and promised the airline tickets I would pursue that route. However that is not the case and my agreement is with DV365, not [redacted] or[redacted] or[redacted] or anyone else. I expect DV365 to make the situation right, not one of these other companies. I have tried to contact DV365 via phone and e-mail with no response. I cannot get a live person to talk to and I was never notified by DV365 as claimed above that [redacted] was not honoring the certificates and would be refunding our money. If DV365 wants to issue us air line tickets as promised we will remove them from this Revdex.com claim and other legal action being pursued. My initial registration was mailed in on October 21, 2013 and we had a trip planned for this Fall, but this fiasco/nightmare has caused multiple problems and costs as a result of the unfulfilled promises.Final Business Response As stated before. We cannot control how [redacted] operates.[redacted], signed the voucher with that company. He went into an agreement with [redacted], not DV365. And now [redacted] is not fulfilling any air vouchers at all. So [redacted] refunded the client back. If the client does not want the replacement voucher we can cancel that voucher. We have spoken to the client several times, the conversation he stated that he was OK with a replacement and everything was fine. Then he opened another complaint. Again, his agreement that signed into was with [redacted] NOT DV365.

We were told that if for any reason we did not use the service for any year, we did not have to pay the yearly fee. THIS IS FALSE.Our annual renewal is today, we got a call from the billing department asking for the $199.00 yearly fee. We told them that because we just had a baby, we did not plan to take any trips through their services and we would not be paying the $199.00 renewal until next year. I was then told that if we don't pay the renewal fee, there will be a late fee of $25.00 per month, and on top of that a $250.00 reinstatement fee. This is not what was advertised during the sales meeting, and the option to pay for the yearly service was optional. Basically, we feel that we are being coerced into paying the renewal fee whether or not we use the service, because if we do not, it will cost much more than just making the yearly payment. The excuse that I hear all the time from anyone that I have spoken today is "well sir, were not there during your meeting" So, basically, my wife and I have now being called liars, thank you Destination Vacations 365.Desired SettlementWe are asking Destination Vacations 365 either a full refund of $2199.00 or keep the agreement which they sold us during the original meeting a year ago.We would gladly keep the service as long as all that we have to pay is just the $199.00 when we decide to use your services. Thank you very much.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] - Director Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@mydv365.comDear Revdex.com,We Destination Vacations 365 (DV365) are the distributor for [redacted] We sell their vacation club. They never mentioned that they would sell the service to a third party. If you need a copy of the original contract, we can provide it.They deceived us and many other people with their selling tactics to get the business.

When joining up for destination vacation 365 we were promised air fare to destination of our choice which they will not honor.company will not honor air fare promised when joining and now we will have to cancel plans, we have attempted to contact them and have left numerous messages in the last 3 days but no response at this time. We have contacted the company that arranges vacations but they have not been able to reach them either.Desired SettlementWould expect company to pay for promised airfare, or if that is not acceptable refund money paid to join.

Promise of two free round trip airline tickets for attending an open house was made by[redacted] and was not provided as promised. Back in September 2013, I noticed an advertisement for a travel seminar in local newpaper. I responded to that advertisement and was sent an email inviting me to attend an open house on September 20, 2013 at[redacted], CA 92011. The invitation email stated that I would receive 2 round trip airline tickets valid anywhere inside the continental United States in exchange for my time in attending the open house presentation. I did not sign up for the travel membership and at the end of the open house, I was given an brochure with an Registration Validation Form in it that I was to mail to Passport to Travel. That brochure stated that once my form was received, that I would receive a "Your Passport to Fly America" packet with reservation procedures. I was told to send in $4.95 for shipping of this travel packet which would detail the conditions for the airline tickets. I sent in my $4.95 and received the packet back. Then I was asked to send in $50 per person traveling. I did that. On, March 3, 2014, I received an email from[redacted] at [redacted].com) with an "Airfair Offer" my Activation Number of [redacted] and activation date of 12/06/2013 for booking my travel. I read the Terms and Conditions of this "Airfair Offer" and sent in my application request for travel days for October 2014 in July for an October airfare date. I called The [redacted] today, September 23rd, 2014, to inquire as to the status of my request. I was informed by them that an email was sent to me on July 29, 2014 informing me of a rejection of my request. I located the old email out of my spam folder, and it stated that when they were processing my request, they discovered that the offer I received from Destination Vacations 365, the primary issuing merchant or distributor, had not funded the free airline tickets as promised. I was told in this email that I should contact them (Destination Vacations 365). When I called the number on the brochure they gave us during the open house, someone from[redacted] answered the phone and said they only do the bookings for people that sign up as members. I was given the phone number for Destination Vacations 365 (888-839-1103). I called that number and the message said "This number cannot receive any more messages because their mailbox if full". So I was not able to talk to anyone about this fraud that was perpetrated upon me. I had planned on a vacation to Las Vegas, and these two free tickets that had been promised me was figured into the cost of that plan. Desired SettlementI want the two airline tickets that was promised me by this company. I also want to be compensated for the $104.95 that was sent in for these tickets that was held while I thought I was getting airline tickets. Business Response Dear Revdex.com, We provided the proper vouchers to[redacted] at the time of the presentation. Along with instructions on how to redeem the vouchers through [redacted], the fulfillment company of these vouchers. Since then, [redacted] stated they are no longer fulfilling vouchers for anyone. We already paid [redacted] for the vouchers that is how we were able to pass them out. Since [redacted] is not fulfilling the vouchers they have refunded everyone back all the money that paid to them.Since this incident caught us by surprise, we have since found another company that has the same process for redeeming the vouchers and they ARE fulfilling them. The client can contact us at 888-830-4385 and we will be more than happy to give them voucher's from a different company.

Did not follow through on a travel voucher that was activated by sending in the $50 service fee for each ticket. Went to a meeting to learn about a discount travel program. Received vouchers for 2 airline tickets that had to be activated by sending in $50 per ticket. We sent in the cashiers check made out to [redacted] for $100 total and it was cashed. We received the activation number via email to set our dates. When we set our dates we received an email back from [redacted] stating that the voucher was never paid for and had the name of the company and code number to contact. There was no phone number to get a hold of them. The contact I was given was SPONSOR NAME: DV365 - Destination Vacations 365.Desired SettlementFull refund and no charges to continue from here on. They did not deliver on promise of 2 airline tickets and failed to accommodate us on vacation times/places.IN early November 2013 we joined the Destination Vacation 365 and paid $5995. The clear understanding was that we would get 2 "free" airline tickets to one of many airports in the US. All we had to pay were at the taxes on the tickets. WE tried to book several times but were never able to get a confirmation until the summer 2014. Then we were informed that the taxers were over $800 on the airline tickets. I called the supervisor to be told that the airline tickets were through another company and Not their problem. We want all $5995 of our money back. Destination Vacations 365 is NOT standing behind their promises.Desired SettlementSimply pay us all of our money ($5995) back as we have received NO services.

Aggressive and deceptive high pressure marketing tactics and false incentives were used to entice us to join their vacation club.1. Deceptive Advertising or just plain lying. They began their sales presentation by bragging about their superior rating by the Revdex.com, when in fact we discovered their "F" rating long after we signed a contract to join their vacation club.2. Aggresive and high pressure marketing tactics were used to convince us to sign on. Near the end of the interview they further enticed us with added bonuses for signing a contract that evening.3. The "free" airline tickets that were promised as bait to lure us into their sales presentation proved to be near impossible to redeem and were a total loss because we were not able to redeem them.4. We were promised inexpensive vacation accomodations. The two times we tried to use the services of the Destination Vacations 365 by contacting their VIP Concierge to book getaways, we were able to secure less expensive rooms using services such as [redacted] or directly negotiating deals with hotel chains by calling them directly, which proved that using Destination Vacations 365 was not saving us any money or time, therefore, Destination Vacations 365 was not a benefit to us.5. To further add insult to injury, we received a call from the Club today informing us that we won a drawing, which we were not aware of ever entering during their presentation. The drawing prize entitled us to a membership upgrade to the "platinum level" if we agree to pay a larger yearly membership fee plus an additional processing fee.We will gladly provide receipts, names and dates of the transactions that took place if requested. Desired SettlementThe resolution we seek is a full refund of our membership fee of $3,209.00, since Destination Vacation 365 has not provided the services that were promised to us. The club membership has not lived up to the expectations that were promised us at the presentation meeting when we joined the club. We feel that it is unfair to pay such a large membership fee and receive nothing in return.Business Response Destination Vacations 265 apologizes for any misunderstanding or miscommunication. DV365 uses a third party fulfillment company, [redacted] who is ultimately responsible for booking client's vacations, and providing the vacation quotes. At no time does DV365 claim to have an A+ Revdex.com rating- all of our advertising, flyers, brochures, presentations, etc. specifically say that [redacted] has an A+ Revdex.com rating, all true at the time the presentation occurred. We apologize for any concern this may have caused. As to the airline vouchers- these are provided to our customers as a courtesy for attending one of our meetings. The vouchers come with instructions on how to redeem. Additionally, it is imperative to again stress that the vouchers are at no time advertised as "free". The clients are advised that they will have to pay any taxes and surcharges associated with the use of these vouchers. It is also important to note that the client signed a form stating that they were aware that they would be responsible for any taxes and surcharges associated with the use of their vouchers. Additionally, it should be noted, that in the client's membership packet, they are advised that DV365 provides a price-match guarantee. It is important to understand the volatile nature of travel- prices change minute to minute, hour to hour, day to day. Because of the nature of the industry, DV365 knows that on rare occasion, the client may be able to book the same vacation through other sites, and as a result offer our clients the price match guarantee. All the client needs to do (clearly indicated in writing, in their membership documents) is call in to our customer service, provide a copy of the itinerary, with dates, etc. and DV365 will match the price. Because the client's membership is renewable, year to year, they received a call from [redacted], who is offering them the ability to upgrade before their anniversary date which is in May, at a discounted rate. There is no obligation to sign up or take advantage of the offer and the additional costs, or savings. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)-When we attended the presentation, we understood that the presenters of DV365 were talking about DV365 when they bragged about their excellent ratings with the Revdex.com.-The times we did book reservations, we attempted to book thru DV365, but were able to secure better deals on our own. As for DV365's price match, the rooms or block of rooms that they offered were of inferior quality or located in less desirable locations within the hotel. The rooms we booked on our own were better quality and were located in more desirable areas.-As far as their offer of an upgrade at a discounted rate, we were contacted by phone by a company called [redacted] not [redacted] about winning a drawing offering a supposed upgrade of our membership to DV365. We do not consider a $299 yearly membership a discount from our present $199 yearly membership. We can continue pointing out our disatisfaction and offering other arguments. In all reality we have not received services from DV365 and find it insulting that they would continue trying to extort additional yearly fees for services they have not provided. We continue to request a full refund of the membership fees we have already paid since we have not received any services from DV365 and have no desire to request any services from them in the future.Final Business Response

Part of the sales promotion was a free flight for 2 in the continental US. This was never provided because of a dispute with a subcontractor. In July, 2014, my wife and I signed up as members with Travel Destinations 365 as part of a sales promotion offering free air travel for 2 in the continental US. We were under the impression that this was through Travel Destinations, but later came to realize it was with a subcontractor (Travel Service Center, [redacted] N [redacted], Tampa, FL), to whom we paid an additional fee of $100. We submitted dates, and the subcontractor replied that the voucher was invalid because Destination Travel had not honored their contract to pay for it. I repeatedly called Destination Vacations Sales Dept. but could never get through. The voice mail said to leave a message, but the inbox was always full. Today, April 22, 2015, I received a call to renew my membership and was able to get a phone number for Customer Service (XXX-XXX-XXXX). I spoke with [redacted] who said he was the final arbitrator of all complaints. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the company, contending that the original sales contract was not valid because Destination Vacations did not honor their promise of a free flight. His position was that they had paid the subcontractor, who did not honor their responsibility to provide the flight. I requested a refund of my membership fee, and he told me that he could not do that since there was a separate contract with the flight subcontractor. He offered me another voucher, which I told him I had no interest in since I felt Destination Vacations was a company I no longer wanted to do business with. His final offer was to suspend my membership. The issue remains unresolved.Desired SettlementTotal refund of membership dues totaling $5295.00.

The price I was quoted for a vacation condo was not the amount charged to my account and they said they could not refund my money.I spoke to a rep several times trying to find a place to stay in [redacted] to sleep 10 people. She called back saying they found (2) 2-bedroom condos for a total of $914.13 including taxes and fees. I understood this to mean that this total was for BOTH condos. When paying for the condos over the phone there was a problem with my card processing the entire amount. I got card numbers from the other adult in our party to pay for her condo and was told that hers would not allow the entire amount either. When I questioned how much they were trying to deduct I was then told that the price of $914.13 was for EACH condo. This was not specified in the multiple conversations I had previously had with the representative. I could not afford to pay that much for one week in Gatlinburg, TN. When I explained that she had not given me the correct information and requested a refund I was told that the manager would have to take care of this and he wouldn't call me until Monday (this was Friday). I was on the phone for almost an hour and was probably on hold for 40 minutes of the call. When the line finally started ringing I had been transferred to manager [redacted]'s voicemail. Of course, he has not returned my call after I left my information and cell phone #. I have a family to provide for and am very upset that this amount has been deducted from my main account and I am unable to retrieve my money in a timely manner. I have also submitted an email through their website to attempt contact. The representative was not clear on the phone and stated they would have to review the recordings from our previous call. This is horrible customer service on their part and I will not be using this club again. My in-laws actually purchased the vacation package and gave us permission to use it as a gift. I will also be letting them know that they did not choose a very good vacation club.Desired SettlementAll I'm asking is that the $914.13 be returned to my checking account since the price was originally misrepresented. This has been very hard to lose that amount of money for my family.Business Response Destination Vacations 365 apologizes for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. DV 365 contacted [redacted] on behalf of the member and had already started the refund process before the complaint was posted with the Revdex.com. Customer Service representatives called the consumer to advise them of the situation, and are currently working with [redacted] to correct any errors.

The services they offer do not seem a good as they promote at the sales conference. Customer service is poor, never returning phone calls as promised.July 18, 2013 book a vacation to a resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mx. Agent booked wrong resort, switch names from another couple and charged credit card. Email received 2 days later after calling agent, wrong reservation noticed. Called back to agent to correct error and she indicated supervisor would have to correct problem and would call me back. No phone calls never received and I called back many occasions to get new reservations for the resort. Now agent stated she could not get reservation. Requested refund and cancel other reservation for a Hotel attached to resort. Agents attempted all avenues to give me refund, not allow to talk to supervisor, and attempted to re-book to another resort without refund. Aug 19 finally processed credit to account for the resort but not the hotel. Still attempting to get credit for hotel. Poor customer service, company does not appear to be forthcoming in their advertising, not low pricing, all "deals" are last minute, and can be matched on other internet sites. The promise of transferring timeshare to another company for a flat fee without additional costs is misleading. Our timeshare has been in the "process" for almost three months and no change, except we had to pay another quarter dues to keep credit rating secure. Contract stated we would not be responsible for any further payment obligations, however slow processing and lack of response by contracted company is costing us more money. Company failed to respond and used it agents to appease customers and keep the clock ticking to miss deadlines for cancellations or refunds. The cost of joining the "Club" is a waste of money. The company does not seem to care about assisting their customers just taking their money. Pricing seems to go to be true, which is exactly right. Something is always wrong and there is always a particular issue needed to get the price, date, time, last minute, etc. They are offering nothing better than any other internet company has to offer, except they charge for the "club". This company has not offered us anything except extremely bad lip service and it takes an act of god to get your money refunded on a mistake their agents made. I would love to get a refund on the club, but I know I have a contract which I will live with, but I want refunded for a vacation that was cancelled in a timely manner. The company uses the excuse that it is the credit card company who is slow for a refund. This in not true. They delay payment to hold our money and do not allow you to talk to a supervisor,. I talked to Agent [redacted] two to three times a weeks for a month, no return call, asked for supervisor, no return call, [redacted], Some other, all with the same response. The company still owes me 269.27 for a cancelled hotel.Desired Settlement269.27 immediate refund for [redacted] reservation. Provide truthful information on pricing example with travel dates and booking requirements clearly posted and explained. Provide customer service to standards as advertised to club members.Business' Initial Response The refund was issued today and client was informed via email. I just want to let everyone know that Destination Vacations is not truthful in their representation of their product. During the sales meeting we were told that Destination Vacations does not go through other vendors and that is how they save so much money on each reservation. We just booked an entire trip to Ireland through Destination Vacations and found that all of our reservations were made through[redacted]. How disappointing. We wanted to originally book all Bed and Breakfasts but decided (since we had spent 5,000 dollars) to go through Destination Vacations which does not book [redacted]'s. Therefore, we have now spent more money on just a hotel room with no breakfast included. Now finding out that we could have book through[redacted] (who does book [redacted]'s) our selves we are reconsidering our purchases. Also, we live in [redacted] California (just north of San Francisco) and the "free" flight that they offered, DOES NOT go out of San Francisco or Oakland. Therefore the flights were more that useless to us! I called the vendor, they said they would change the voucher to the free hotel stay or the cruise. They never sent the voucher. THANK GOD we didn't spend any money with the vouchers. Last complaint: the free travel points that you get do not apply until 3-6 months after you travel. I have not voiced this complaint to Destination Vacations. But I think that all of these complaints should be read at the sales meeting. Or that Destination Vacation should give a trial period, instead of insisting that you buy now or never type of sales. It is the first and hopefully the last bad decision that we will make.Desired SettlementIt would be great if we could get a full refund of 5,000 dollars. Since we are considering canceling our only travel plans through Destination Vacations to make our own reservations through [redacted].Business Response Contact Name and Title:[redacted] - Director Contact Phone: 888-830-4385Contact Email:[redacted]@mydv365.comDear Revdex.com, We are the distributors for[redacted] Resorts ([redacted]), [redacted] is the fulfillment company. The website and all travel requests are done by [redacted] does have a price match guarantee, so anytime a client finds a cheaper price on their own they can simply call or click on the "guarantee" link on their website so they will always get the best prices. We only have administrative access so I can't see any trip requests or quotes. I encourage the clients to call [redacted] so they can better help them with this issue. In regards to their air voucher, if they never received that replacement voucher they can call the voucher company directly.Thank youConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)They did not respond to the lies that the sales representative told us that they do not use other vendors like [redacted].com and they are not putting the problem on the [redacted] (the people that Destination Vacations is representing!). The problem isn't the price match guarantee, it is the LIES they told us.Final Business Response Dear Revdex.com,We do not book any requests for travel. The sales reps would never say they[redacted] Resorts does or does not use a specific vendor for booking travel because we do not handle any travel requests whatsoever. If the client has something in writing we will be more than happy to honor that.

This company has totally misrepresented its claims as a travel service. They are impossible to get in contact with and have only taken my money. On August 31 2013 we purchased this Destination Vacation 365 program when they came to our area in [redacted] Utah. There sales approach seemed pleasing at the time. After making the purchase we then decided to rescind the program. When we made that decision we were put in contact with another person who was much more high pressure who got us to agree to a 10 year program over the life time program at a lesser fee. We are getting closer to our retirement years and felt the service could have some benefits for us in future travel. ALL THEY HAVE DONE IS TAKE OUR MONEY!!! They have been next to impossible to contact. I have used the service only once for a local hotel and I would expected a much lower rate than we received. This was in April of this year. Shortly after that I received calls from them to pay our annual fee early and we would receive extra travel rewards. I agreed to pay that as we are planning a large family vacation in 2015. Since paying that fee I have tried on several occasions to begin the reservation process only to receive a message that they can not take our calls at this time. I have called the representatives that sold us the package and they likewise will not return our call. They have delivered NOTHING in anyway shape or form. Desired SettlementI recognize that I may not be able to receive a refund as I signed a contract, however this is a huge SCAM and have been told they have an "F" rating so I'm apparently not the first one to feel this way. I'm not seeking any damages but would like as much money as I can receive back from a company that has been very dishonest in claiming to offer great vacation deals when delivering nothing to me.Business Response Dear Revdex.com, After joining, the clients contacted us stating they were at a financial hardship. So the representative they spoke with offered to do a reduced membership so the clients can still take advantage of all the savings and pay a substantially reduced membership cost. There was no high sales tactics used at all since the person they spoke with is not a sales rep, just a member service adviser. The clients agreed to doing a reduced membership. Regarding the claim of being "impossible to contact" I don't know who they are referring to. We only handle the marketing and distribution of the membership, their actual membership lies with Reservation Services International (RSI). RSI handles any and all travel requests for the client and they also maintain the website. The client states they used it for a hotel and saved some money. RSI contacted the client regarding the renewal fee, not us. The optional renewal fee is paid to RSI should they decide to renew. I believe the clients are calling the wrong number. The correct number for trip requests is contacting the concierge department of RSI at 888-465-6639. If the client is unhappy with RSI they can request a refund of their renewal fee to them.Thank you

I purchased a membership on June 16 and called the only number provided to cancel within the 3 days and nobody returned my calls or solved my issues. After purchasing the membership, I investigated the website and realized that it was completely different from what was told to us. The packages were not reduced, only certain dates were available, and the restaurant deals were open to the public. After calling to cancel, nobody returned my calls. I also called my salesman personally and he never got back to us. I finally made contact with someone and they told me they would get back to me, but I have left over a dozen messages and have not heard back from anyone. I don't know if they are avoiding me or trying to prolong the process so that I can't do anything about it.Desired SettlementI would like my $1995 deposit back since I held up to my end of the contract and they were deceitful in what they were selling.Business' Initial Response Destination Vacations 365 apologizes that Client is not satisfied with the discounted offers available to our members. We also apologize for any dissatisfaction in the Customer Service experience and any delays in a price quote that may have occurred. A Client Services Representative attempted to contact Client on July 3rd and again on July 11th to discuss her concerns. Client returned call on July 12th and was advised that a full refund would be issued that day in the amount of $1995 to her American Express card ending in XXXXX. Please note that refund will be reflected on Client's account within 3-5 days. 100% Client satisfaction is our goal and we greatly apologize once again that Client was not happy with the services or experience provided. We will use Client's input to correct the situation and make improvements in our approach moving forward.

On Oct. 26, 2013 we entered into a contract agreement with Destination Vacation 365 for a membership plan and they would sell our timeshare. We paid in good faith $5495. toward the membership with $500. for fee processing related to the potential sale of the timeshare. The reason would price was higher was due to the agreement that they would sell our timeshare. We knew we had to pay the 2013 maintenance fee. They told us it would take to probably February 2014. We have tried to contact them with no result. We have not used our membership because we felt the primary reason for the service was to sell our timeshare. We were also told they would contact for the title, etc. along with providing travel vouchers for our family members. Desired SettlementDue to the energy invested in trying to contact Destination Vacations 365 and their failure to honor our initial agreement we would appreciate a full refund, since we will be needing the money to pay for the maintenance fee.We feel we have been scammed out of our money. We hope you can assist us in this matter.Sincerely[redacted]Business Response Dear Revdex.com, We are a vacation club. We do not handle any type of selling or purchasing of timeshares. I do see that the client had a timeshare went she met with us and we referred the client to a company that can help get her out of her timeshare. If you need any additional information please feel free to contact me directly.Thank you,[redacted] Director of Client ServicesDestination Vacations 365XXX-XXX-XXXXConsumer Response I was astonished that Destinations 365 reported that they referred me to a company to sell our timeshare. Part of the presentation and also because the amount of money we spent, $5495.) the agreement was that they would handle everything. This did not happen. At no time did they refer us to a company to sell our timeshare. It was quite the opposite. We were told that no one was to call us, because they would handle the transaction. We would be contacted by mail. This did not occur.I want a full refund, because this was a breach of contract. A contract which they did not honor. I have the paperwork which specifically told us that they would sell our timeshare and it would be around Feb 2014. We still have the timeshare, which is okay, but we paid for services never received. Please refund our money.Sincerely[redacted]Final Business Response Dear Revdex.com,The client can provide us with any documents or contracts so we can better assist them. The contract I see does in fact state that we do not handle the resale and/or rental of any timeshare's that the client owns, signed and dated by both [redacted] and [redacted] Like I previously stated, we refer the client's to a transfer/disposal company. This client was referred to [redacted] The client was provided all of their contact info and we have left several messages with the clients. On 10/6/14 one of our representatives reached out to the clients to again provide them with [redacted] contact info but the clients refused to speak with that company. All the client stated was that they wanted a refund.

The sales pitch presented is not truthful. They omit certain aspects of the pricing and their product is not what is told at presentation.I have several complaints with this company the first is that I believe they hold their presentations on a Friday night intentionally so that if you have 3 days to check out their product your days are expired before you even get a chance as they do not work on the weekends and by the time you get home from work on Monday their offices are closed. It is not 24/7 service even online, My biggest issue at this time is that when I purchased their product I was told that there was no fee if we did not use it and if we wanted to skip a year we could and then the next year if we decided to use it we would just have to pay our $199 fee for the year. But now that my first year is up the company has called me to try get me to pay for my yearly fee. At which time I stated that I am not happy with their product and I won't be using it this year. They then told me that if I chose to use it next year I would not only have my $199 yearly fee but that I would also have to pay a $250 fee to resume my membership. This was most definitely not how it was stated when we purchased out product. They also stated that they would beat any price that was out there for the exact same vacation. This is also not the case as I pointed out to them last year that I found the same exact vacation for cheaper and showed them their price and the price quoted me online and their response was oh sorry we made a mistake our price is the same as the price you found on the internet. Really I feel their whole sales pitch was a lie. We were shown deals that they said we could not find anywhere else but once you join you can't find those deals on their website however you can find the deals online (other sites)that they said they were always cheaper than because they buy in bulk. Prices and product are definitely not as stated when being presented. At this time my problem is with the yearly fee. We were told that we did not lose anything if we chose not to use it for a year. We definitely were not told we would lose our membership if we skipped a year. Then to charge me $250 to reinstate my membership is definitely not what I would say is losing nothing! We both remember specifically asking that because we previously owned timeshares and I did not want a fee if I was not going to use it. I purchased the package on June 13, 2013 in [redacted] Wisconsin. Our membership Id is 1073473. We paid $3695 at that time then I called to complain that in my 3 day trial period I had no time to check out there deals because they did not operate on weekends and there travel agents take 1 to 2 days to respond to your inquires. So at that time I was given the opportunity to cut my membership to a 10 year one and the fee would only be $1800 So I was refunded $1895 from [redacted] on June 26, 2013. Later I discovered the I could not find any of the deals they claimed at the time of purchase so it is very hard to use a vacation when I can find them cheaper everywhere else except their site. So I decided I would search their site more next year to see if I could find any deals and then to my surprise I got the phone call last week regarding the yearly fee and the $25o charge to renew out membership if we chose to skip a year. Now I am even more depressed and upset than I was before with this company. Desired SettlementI really would like a total refund of my $1800. I do realize that this most likely will not happen as my product is a year old at this point. Perhaps give me a refund that is pro rated to my use. That would be $1620. At the very least I would expect to have the right to keep my membership even if I do not use it every year and only have to pay my yearly $199 fee if I was going to use it. I don't want to have to pay $199 fee for access to your website to see if I can find a deal that should be part of the guarantee when I spent the initial fee to purchase.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] - Director Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]@mydv365.comDear Revdex.com, In regards to this complaint. The client states we met with them on a Friday "intentionally so they have 3 days to check the product." We met with them on 6/13/13 which was a Thursday, we are and always have been open 7 days a week. We spoke with the client on 6/15/13 which was still within their cancellation period. That $199 fee they mentioned does not go to us. [redacted]) is the fulfillment company, we sell their membership to the public. The $199 goes to [redacted] when the clients renew. [redacted] does have a price match guarantee, if the clients should ever find a better price on their own, all they have to do is notify [redacted] and [redacted] will beat that price. We are the distributor, so any quotes are not done by us, they are done with [redacted]. We don't have access to their website or their pricing. If this complaint is regarding fulfillment then [redacted] will be able to assist the clients. The client does have the option to speak with a manger at [redacted] regarding that $199 renewal fee or any additional fees that she mentioned and [redacted] will be able to help accommodate her. [redacted] can be reached at [redacted]. Or if you have any questions you can reach me directly.Thank youConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I think because Destination Vacations sold me the product and personally told me I would have no fees if I chose not to use it that year and then could use it the following year with only the $199 fee they should be held liable. I did not buy the product from [redacted] and have not heard of them until now. I did cal [redacted] and explain my complaint and they had told me most likely they would waive the $250 renewal fee but I was not guaranteed, which is fine as they were not the ones who lied to me. I will say Buyer Beware as Destination Vacations is not honest or truthful in their sales pitch.Final Business Response

This Company was supose to save us lots of money on travel purchases. But I have as yet to save any money.A agreement was purchesed on 10-31-13 for $4,500 using my [redacted] and I am not happy with the product. Desired SettlementWe would like to get our money back

I just want my money back since this company can't deliver on their promises.I am a new member to this DV365 and called to book a cruise. I called and was told I would hear back in 24 hours with a quote. 48 hours went by and didn't hear a word! I called again and requested another quote and was again and was told the same thing. So, on the third day I called and requested a refund and "[redacted]" told me someone would call me back...of course I heard nothing. I called again the next day and finally after the fourth try someone answered the phone and I again requested a refund and "[redacted]" again told me AGAIN this long line about having to send e-mails....BLAH BLAH BLAH and someone would call me back. So, I called again today and talked with [redacted], he had a HORRIBLE attitude and talked to me like a third rate citizen and told me what I could not get a refund and that I had to talk to their customer service department for whatever reason. I am tired of calling these people.I am tired of listening to what I think is a line of crap.I just want my money back since this company can't deliver on their promises and sure can't return calls.Desired SettlementI am a new member to this DV365 and called to book a cruise. DV365 uses a third party company, [redacted] to book the client's vacations. We apologize for any frustration that may have occurred as a result of their delay at returning calls. When the consumer called into [redacted], regarding her membersdhip, and her desire to cancel, he merely informed her, as [redacted] previously had, that there is a 3 day cancellation period, that unfortnatey had already closed. [redacted] offered to send the consumer a copy of their contract, highlightinh the cancellation policy, and offered to connect the consumer to the concierge so that they could assist her in booking the cruise, since she had mentioned to him that she had difficulty receiving a call back. However, the client hung up on [redacted] before he was able to transfer her. We apologize that the client is outside of their cancellation period, but would still like to assist in the booking of the client's vacation so that they can utilize the benefits of their membership. The client can call in again, and we will be happy to facilitate the booking of the client's next vacation. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This is true, I hung up on him because he was talking VERY hateful to me and I was done with him and with this company. I was NEVER told about a 3 day cancellation period and after reading through the paperwork they gave me, it states NOWHERE about a 3 day cancellation period. This should have been mentioned when signing up with them and it was NOT. It does mention to write to them by midnight and to see an attached form that I DID NOT GET! (they must do this on purpose) They have these seminars on Sunday and mail doesn't go out on Sundays, they know this. They are slimeballs, I might add that they said they were Revdex.com accredited and now I know they are not. The reason that it took this long for this process to happen is that we were told that since we were making payments we couldn't use their service until it was paid in full! I have attached the receipts from the payments made, please make note of the states they come from. I am attaching a file of all the paperwork that I have.Final Business Response

High Pressure Sales Tactics To Swindle Your MoneyWe attended their seminar several years ago. The sales tactics are very high pressure. Destination Vacations 365 tells you that you must buy their vacation package right there on the spot or you will not get their great vacation deals, including condos, cruises, flights, rental cars and more. We kept saying no and then they kept badgering us and luring us in on all the fine vacations we would experience at deep discounts. So we finally relented and paid their huge up front fee. We have tried using their service many times and they have not had any flights or car rentals or condos that were great bargains or even better pricing compared to what we could get shopping on our own. Plus you must speak to a travel agent many times and they screen the calls before they call you back and then the service is horrible; it takes them several days to call you back. I am extremely disappointed and I want my money back.Desired SettlementI expect a full refund.

Misled about services. Paid to cancel a service; not done, now having to pay. Lied to by rep. when told matter would be resolved in a few days. Solicited by mail and told we would receive free airline tickets anywhere in Continental U.S. for attending seminar on 6-30-13. Confirmed with telephone agent when I called that the tickets were indeed free. At seminar, agent asked if we were happy with our current vacation company, to which we responded yes. Agent said our current company was going to increase our dues over time (even though we own it)and he could get us out of the current vacation company and give us better opportunities. Showed us properties that were a "deal" and cost less. Personal agent, [redacted],assigned to us to discuss issues. Very high pressure and pushy, but initially offered us the VIP platinum membership if we would drop our other timeshare. After further discussion, agent, [redacted], said she could only offer us the bronze plan and that they would give us nothing for our timeshare, that Destination Vacations 365 was just helping us get out of it, but that she would save us from having to pay our timeshare annual fees. Agreed to join as bronze members (1 premium week a year). Filed out paper work and paid $5295.00,including fee to resolve contract with current time share. Told we would have to pay another fee when the matter was resolved. Told that the company, [redacted] would request our deed and other paperwork within two weeks. Told we would not be paying any other condo fees toward our current time share. Waited to hear from [redacted] Attempted to make a vacation reservation several times, each time price went up. Middle of July and still nothing from [redacted] Became very concerned that we had not heard from company. Contacted [redacted] on August 17, 2013;they had never heard of us and had no record on file for our transfer or fees paid. Called agent [redacted], who did not answer her phone or return the call. Called Destination Vacation 365 membership told them what happened. Transferred to a generic voicemail and instructed to leave detailed message. Explained issues, concerns and requested return call. No call returned. Called [redacted] again on September 23, 2013. Agent reported they received a document from Destination Vacation 365 on July 24,but had no idea why we had not been contacted. Within 10 minutes and e-mail popped up from their company requesting information. I declined and explained they were negligent and I believed we were being scammed. Called membership and spoke with a [redacted] who reported that there was no record on file of us having need for a release from another time share. At this point I expressed great frustration and voiced my concerns over having been lied to, misled and having been conned by Destination Vacation 365. Agent, [redacted], asked me what I wanted to settle the issues. I told him we wanted our money back. He said he would talk to his supervisors and I would hear from him within 2 to 3 days. I have never been contacted since then.Throughout this time frame we tried to redeem our free tickets for flights. It cost us money just to send in for the vouchers. The next set of papers that followed requested more money if we wanted to get actual vouchers! At this point we stopped trying to redeem or use the "free" vouchers. We paid for this "membership" using our Visa. Our account number with Destination Vacations 365 is XXXXXXX.We are now having to come up with funds to pay for our current time share that Destination Vacation 365 said we would not have to pay again. We feel we have been intentionally and purposefully lied to and misled by Destination Vacation 365. Desired SettlementWe are requesting a full refund in the amount of 5295.00 that we paid to Destination Vacation 365.This company went out of its way to purposefully mislead us about our timeshare, as well as lied to us about the termination ability of our timeshare. We were also mislead about the "free" vouchers for travel. The lack of a response from Destination Vacation 365 to EACH of my attempts to resolve these conflicts is alarming, unprofessional and suggests that the business is not reputable. We wish to terminate any type of membership, relationship, account or other services with Destination Vacation365 and any of their affiliates. Business Response Destination Vacations 365 apologizes for any confusion and miscommunication. Our client relations manager has spoken with the consumers, and they have reached an amicable agreement. Due to some complications arising out of the client's timeshare transfer, Destination Vacations and the client have both agreed to cancel the services. Per the terms of the phone conversation, the resolution sought will be granted, but may take about 14 days to fully process.
