Review: I took my car to this shop 5/2014 because my a/c was working intermittently. I was told my condenser and my compressor needed replacing. $1200.00 later I thought it was fixed but it was not. The a/c continued to do the same thing---sometimes it blew cold air and other times it did not. The car was brought back and some wiring was changed because they could not find anything wrong. Again 1 week later no a/c. My husband and I asked for the labor charge to be refunded because it was evident the car was not fixed and they declined our request. Needless to say I had to go to the dealership where it took the mechanic less than 10 minutes to find the problem---the control panel was old and warped and the connection needed for my a/c to work was not making contact. So, another 750.00$ more out of pocket. I feel this was completely handled incorrectly. They should stand behind their work! Disgusted & disappointed!Desired Settlement: Labor charge of 508.49 refunded since the a/c was never fixed

In response to the complaint that was sent to us, we have been speaking with Ms [redacted]'s husband [redacted] and will be speaking further to try to resolve this matter. Our explanation to this situation is that they were quoted a price and were given several different options to try to fix their vehicle. They chose one of the more expensive estimates hoping that this would get their vehicle fixed. A week or two later, they found that their A/C was still not working appropriately. Instead of bringing the car back to us so that we can further trouble shoot, they brought their vehicle to the dealership. If they would have brought their vehicle back to us, we could have been able to find the problem just as quickly as the other mechanic at the dealership since all of the other work was done and it would have been done at no charge to them. Only maybe getting the part at our cost which is considerably less than list price and we would not have charged them any labor. I'm sure this mechanic knew if the other work was done, it had to have been something else which thankfully he did find out what the problem was. I'm happy that the [redacted]'s vehicle has been fixed and hopefully it will continue to work. I understand their frustration being that I've had a problem like that with my own vehicle some time ago and was very upset that I had spent so much money in trying to get it fix and it was still broken. In speaking with my partner and lead mechanic, [redacted] we've agreed on this today. What I can do to resolve this issue is to offer the [redacted]'s $400.00 in the hopes that we can resolve this unfortunate event. I would also like Ms [redacted] to know that I totally understand her frustration and I'm sorry that this has happened and if she would like to give me a call I am more than happy to speak with her.
