I am responding to a complaint that was made by *** *** previous address *** *** *** ** ***I did not handle this case but I have all of the information on the events that led up to this complaintTo begin addressing her concern that she did not know
about taxes, it is in her land contract in section stating "Any and all back taxes are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser." *** *** also initialed and signed the 'Acknowledgment of Wayne County Property Tax Bill' stating she received, understood and assumed responsibility for the taxesOur investors do not deal with the customers, that is why Detroit Property Exchange has many different departments to take care of all of our clients
*** *** stated, "She wanted answers to tons of questions"She wanted answers as to why she was evicted and she received those answers. She came in the day of her eviction spoke with *** the Collections Manager and *** was also able to get an investor on the phone (which almost never happens) just to take care of *** ***An eviction was set in place May 26, when she came in that day it was explained by the investor and by *** that she needed to take care of her balance in order to stop the eviction. *** *** did not pay her balance and the eviction took placeShe then came in and met with *** the week of June 6, and wanted to pay the arrears and move back in*** explained to her since she was already evicted from the home she would have to reapply for the Homeownership Program and she refusedShe felt as if *** didn't help her out so she was in communication with the customer service department who expressed they would again review her payment history as to why the events took place
Detroit Property Exchange has went above and beyond to help *** *** out she even entered an arrangement that she did not fulfillShe has met with a Manager and was explained her payments, what was applied, and how much she owedShe was served by 36th District and she was properly evicted by Officer ***Detroit Property Exchange even still gave her a chance to reapply and she chose not toWe have extended all of our options with *** ***Any questions please call the number listed belowThank you
