Detroit Wrecker Sales

Detroit Wrecker Sales has completely ruined my company. I bought a lift from them less then 3 months ago and it wont tow as advertised. I paid nearly $18000.00 dollars to the Owner Mike Farrel. I called them when I was having problems with the LIL HERCULES and they in so many words told me to pound salt. I called the local police dept and was told its a civil matter. This lift has bent and will not go in and the reach on this is terrible I can only tow small cars without risking life and limb. If I try to tow a truck fully extended it hits the rear of my truck a 2018 Chevrolet 3500hd diesel long bed 4 dr. The pump almost caught my truck on fire as it stuck on while I was loading a vehicle. I had to cut the battery cable to get it to shut off or risk it burning my truck down. Stay as far away from these crooks as possible. Don't believe the hype. I RESEARCHED this and found 98% of the people who he lets stay on his reviews are new customers who have no clue yet what they just bought. I found a ton of former employees and people who bought from this company and they all say the same thing they are a fraud.

Bought a new unit off them in January. This thing has fell apart. Main pin failed and they are giving me the run around on warranty. Mike has treated me like im some kind of it. Ive been towing for 29 years. I would not recommend these overpriced jerks to anyone. Im compiling a list of complaints to give to the attorney general.

Bought a lil herc. Wont to anything without smacking the back of my truck. The unit is slow and barely picks up trucks. When calling to see why they tell me its my fault and the tailgate needs removed to tow.
