I am rejecting this response because: The plants that Capital Landscape replaced are not survivingThe drain they created at the side of the house is clogged with dirt and air conditioner condensate is overflowing on the new concreteAfter all the money we spent, $40K, the small flower beds have to be hand watered out frontMy complaint with this company goes back to the plansThe plans were never approved properly by us; they were stuffed into my screen door the day they started workThe project manager said, "No worries." "We'll take care of you!"
In response to the complaint (case # [redacted] ) filed by Mrs [redacted] on May 26th, the reason for the late response is twofold; internally new personnel did not forward the email on to management (an embarrassing oversight), secondly all issues were resolved by June 1st, therefore making the unknown complaint mootTo clarify the complaints issued by Mrs***, firstly [redacted] (me) did not manage the projectMy only contact with Mrs [redacted] was a phone conversation regarding replacing plants and I simply requested that she choose the plants she liked and we would go buy them and replace the plants she didn’t likeThe pipe leak was fixed at no additional cost to the client even though that section of yard was not included in our original scope of workMy foreman took it upon himself to fix, to show a sign of goodwill, this was after he was verbally assaulted by Mr [redacted] with improper language in the presence of my foreman’s’ eight year old son after working hoursRegarding the caps, we attempted to pass on to Mrs [redacted] a restocking fee, a fee any reasonable and ethical contractor would ask a clientUl***ately, we did not collect for the restocking feeWe did however bill the electrician for the broken caps, which only seems logicalAs to the assertion that we would make an insurance claim, I would be insulted if it wasn’t so laughable.Sincerely, [redacted] ***General ManagerCapital Landscape
