This letter is in response to the complaint by *** *** on the property at ** *** ** * *** *I will address the issues in my response in the same order that they were presented in the complaintI was contacted about the tenants being noisy above *** and that I needed to repair the two
entry doors by the end of the following week on Saturday October 15th.The tenants above *** were texted on October 15th to please keep the noise down in the propertyA letter was also mailed stating that per their lease noise would not be accepted at the propertyI did not hear anything about the noise again until 11/7/when *** text us about it againThere was a letter sent to the tenants that if there was one more nuisance call that they would have to move or be evicted per their lease and West StPaul ordinanceI also spoke with the West St Paul Police to give them my cell phone number and to have them inform me if there was another nuisance call at the propertyI spoke with the tenants in unit (above ***) about ANY noise and to make sure they understood that the next step was them moving out or evictionThe unit property is not infested with cockroachesThe first time we heard about any cockroaches at the property was 4/7/from unit The attached invoice shows that all units were treated 4/12/with the majority coming from unit I had not received a roach complaint previously in the years that we have managed the propertyThe follow up for all units was 6/14/with the invoice attachedI did not receive a complaint of any roaches at the property until *** *** texted to complain about bugs in his unit and complain about the tenants in unit for noise on 11/21/We have the attached invoice showing that 11/29/all units were again treated and what was found during that treatmentThe first that I have heard about the door bending is on this complaint*** has left the property, but we will look at the issue*** *** is not receiving his deposit back because he did not give proper notice for moving out of the property*** also moved out of the property without cleaning, the carpet needed to be cleaned, and the cat ripped carpet in the closetThe lease was a no pet leaseI can send a breakdown of those costs alsoI am very sorry that the tenants upstairs are noisy, we were/are taking the proper legal steps that we can take to evict a tenant for noise complaintsThere was no knowledge of roaches at the property when *** moved in and they were treated in a very timely manner the two times we were informed of tenants seeing a roachPlease let me know if you have any other questions or need any further information--- Thanks, *** Deuth Owner/Broker Land and Living Realty

I am rejecting this response because: I had no prior knowledge of a cockroach infestation... You made me pay a security deposit on a place that had roaches... When you told me the exterminator was coming in April you stated it was routine and never mentioned anything about roaches. If you would have I would have moved out right then and there on the spot.
