The bottom line is that I still dont have confidence in car nor do I feel safe driving the car with my expectant wife with me or having her drive the car alone. I still  feel the 1 month payment did not resolve my issues as I am still driving the car. Instead of the 1 month payment we were discussing the option of having the dealership pay the $2000(estimate) termination fee so that I can walk away from the vehicle. They decided not to do so and offered me the option of signing a new full term lease with money out of pocket up front and/or a higher monthly payment. I would also like to state that I felt the response time was not timely nor was I spoke to in a respectful manner.

Review: I leased a brand new [redacted] in Sept of 2012 and have brought my cars in for repair at least 10 times. 3 of the times I had to have my car towed in and twice it stopped on the highway (thankfully I was in the slow lane both times). In addition, my engine had to be replaced within the first year and I had to bring it in multiple times for a seat issue (which they said was not occurring) and for an airbag indicator issue which was eventually rectified as a recall. I have also had issues with poor customer service from the service dept. Lastly I have recently requested that they replace the vehicle as I dont feel safe driving in the vehicle or having my expectant wife as a passenger or driving the vehicle. I tried to reach out to the general manager ([redacted]) of the dealership who had the original sales rep ([redacted]) call me back instead of calling me back himself. For the record [redacted] is the only person who has been responsive.I eventually tracked [redacted] down today to speak with him in person and he told me that the hands were tied as corporate ** would not buy back the car. Therefore, he was taking not taking any responsibility that the vehicle came from his dealership. In addition, when I expressed my concern about the safety of my family and not having peace of mind enough to drive the vehicle to a short trip to vacation in RI. His solution would be willing to drive my car for a week to give me piece of mind or provide me with a loaner vehicle for my trip. When I said I was not satisfied with these options he said "sometimes you cant have what you want and that I was acting like a child". His other option was for me to sign a new lease for the full term at a higher monthly payment (I believe it was to be increased to $667 from $522). I reached out to the corporate ** office again and they said it falls on the dealership.Desired Settlement: I would like to be provided with a new vehicle for the remainder of my lease at the same montly payment.
