I purchased “Color oops” from this brand and it didn’t work at all. Not even close to anything that it states. I followed all directions listed as well and still nothing. I want a full refund. I reached out to the company twice and they never responded.

I purchased 3 bottles of the color oops. I sent an email to them as well as a picture of my hair. They person who answered the email said they cannot help me because I did not buy from them. I would like a refund or a replacement for my 3 bottles of Dye. Spending 32 on something that did not work was a waste of money. And now I still have to buy more product to remove the black from my hair.

*** contacted our customer service on April 14, 2020 complaining that she had purchased 3 boxes of our Extra Strength Color Oops product to remove black hair dye, but it did not remove the color to her satisfaction. Our customer service explained to her that it would be hard to remove stubborn black color after years of black dye applications. *** decided to she would try to lighten her hair in attempt to remove the black. We sent her 3 lightening kits as a replacement for the 3 Oops kits to help her with her process. The 3 lightening kits were sent to her on 4/15/20 and was delivered to her on 4/20/20.

Splat claims their hair dye is temporary and wash out. My daughter dyed her hair MONTHS ago and the color will not come out. Splat has advised me of multiple COSTLY tricks I can try at home and nothing has worked. I keep spending more and more money that I dont have, especially with school approaching. The company is now ignoring me.

I purchased the Splat hair color in Pure Sapphire. The pucture showed a dark blue. I followed the instructions, bleached my hair very light and applied and my hair turned a green teal. Not at all blue. I am a cosmetology degree holder I have colored my hair using many products including other splat colors. I know what im doing. The issue is the color is a green not blue the way the package and name represents.
When I contacted the business they wanted the receipt and numbers of the box which had been thrown out as I dont keep trash in my home. They also requested a picture which is completely inappropriate as they can not as anything and I should not have to disclose my image. Its disgusting to ask for that and not ok. They have done nothing to refund me or responded since my refusal to provide a picture. Unacceptable.

I spent $28.60 on "Splat for Brunettes - No Bleach Needed in Midnight Amethyst" hair color only to find out when I used it that it does not work. Later I found out from contacting their support that their company changed the packaging of this product, thus removing the advertisement of it being "for brunettes" while continuing to allow products with the old packaging and an untrue advertisement to be sold. I contacted them twice requesting a refund to which both requests went unanswered. I am very upset by this because I feel the company changed the packing knowing it did not work as advertised and rather than pulling products with the old packaging they continued to allow stores to sell them. I feel this is more evident by the fact that I have contacted them twice concerning the matter only to be ignored.

With due respect, I already wasted money and time on one of your products that didn't work as advertised. That being my first experience with your products it was upsetting and disappointing to say the least. This has only been exacerbated by the company itself who will not stand behind their product and issue me a refund or even acknowledge they know said product doesn't work as advertised. Instead they're going threw a change in packaging, thus removing the false advertisement, while still allowing products with the old packaging and false advertising to still be sold. If I have to explain how sneaky and wrong that behavior is then we have bigger issues than my wanting my money back.As I had previously noted, I sent complaints directly to support immediately after using said product on 02/17/2019. When I did not receive a response I sent another, along with a copy of my receipt on 03/03/2019, and again received no response. I then proceeded to file a complaint via the Revdex.com on 03/16/2019 as I was tired of being ignored. Then 10-days later, on 03/26/2019, I began receiving a Splat Newsletter I never signed up for or had previously received, which I promptly replied to stating as such and how irksome it was I couldn't get a response to my complaint, but that I would be sent marketing material instead. I can only assume my email was obtained from this very complaint.Finally I received a response on 04/08/19 in which I was asked to supply photos of my results, a copy of the purchase receipt for the products, information from the product packaging and was offered a replacement product. This same message was subsequently sent to my email which I did not appreciate as you were trying to circumvent the Revdex.com. I promptly responded that same day rejecting the offer, again requested a refund and stated I wanted to keep communications via the Revdex.com. I also attached photos of the requested information and stated I did not have the product packaging from February when it was used. I then received a second message on 04/09/2019 stating I should take the product and receipt back to CVS for a full refund. I received this response despite the company knowing the product had already been used therefore there was nothing to "return". I promptly responded the following morning, rejected the non-offer and again requested a refund. At that time I stated it had been 7-weeks since my initial complaint and the closest I received to a response was the marketing material I had received 10-days after filing my complaint via the Revdex.com. I further stated your company first tried to make excuses claiming it was a bad batch of the product. When that didn't work they attempted to pass the buck to CVS, which I pointed out is not right.Now, almost 2-weeks since the last message, I receive a third stating you cannot send me a refund and again offer me products a second time. The fact of the matter is that you can send me a refund, you just won't. I have supplied all the proofs I was asked for except the product packaging information, which logic should dictate I didn't have almost two months after the fact. Perhaps if I had received a response the day I used and initially complained about the product rather than being ignored it would have been a different story.As I stated two weeks ago, I do not want any products. All I want is the $28.60 I spent for your products that didn't work as advertised, which is not asking a lot. Especially considering I had to involve the Revdex.com just to get a response in the first place.

I bought Splat 95% Naturals dye in the color teal. I have purchased products from Splat before with no problems. This time, not only is nearly my entire body dyed blue, but I am incredibly itchy and have had a rash appear.

I have attempted multiple times to contact the company, only to be either transferred and hung up on, or simply hung up on.

I will NEVER use Splat products again and I feel that they were incredibly unprofessional.

We have looked back on phone and email records and were not able to find the customers information. Our customer service representatives are more than happy to help anyone having an issue or question with a product. Direct dyes do have the potential to stain skin and other surfaces on contact, especially if they are highly pigmented for vibrant color. We would have be happy to suggest to the customer several things to try and remove the stains. Unfortunately, we never had the chance to. We apologize for any miscommunication that seems to be occurring
with the customer. Again, we have looked back at our phone records and do not
have any calls from the customer. We have also looked back at our email records
and the customer has not reached out to us through our Customer Care support line
or INFO support line. Our Im
email is listed on WARNINGS label on back of packet. We have also looked back
on our social media, and the customer has not reached out to us through social
media, which would have gotten to our customer service representatives.

We are sorry to hear the customer does not want us to help
find a product that may be a better fit for her. The Splat Single formula is
95% all natural and vegan. The list of ingredients is listed on the very bottom
of the packet. If a patch and strand test were conducted correctly, the customer
would have seen a reaction appear with in the 48-hour testing period, prior to
full application. Please note, because Splat hair dyes are highly pigmented,
for vibrant color results, there are always possibilities of staining and dye
should be rinsed off separately, to not stain full body. Instructions do state
to wash color out separately in cold water.

We would still be happy to reach out to the customer through
the email provided to further assist her with this complaint and to hopefully find
a solution and offer a replacement product. We value our customers and want to make sure
they achieve the desired result. The customer is more than welcome to choose
any product from any of our product lines as a replacement for the product that
did not work for her.

I Purchase this Product on 01/03/2019 at Walmart and I got the product home and I put it on my hair and I let the hair dye sit for 30 minutes and I washed the dye off and the dye did not stick and my hair did not dye.The dye was spossed to be blue but it did not change.

I purchased Developlus' Satin hair color and product developer which says it will cover grays. I applied product to my hair on three separate occasions, each time product NEVER WORKED to fully color my hair and or grays and I contacted company in december to request a refund.

She emailed us the requested information, minus the hair results, and she chose to receive 2 kits of the No Gray drops. We sent her the replacement package on December 21st. It was delivered to her local post office on December 29th. Customer has not received the package due to providing an insufficient address to us. We have emailed customer regarding this, provided her with tracking information, and recommended that she contact the local post office to confirm the package is available for pick up. I purchased a Splat 30 wash hair colour from this business.
I read the instructions multiple times before application, and I followed the directions exactly as specified.
Despite appropriate use, the colour did not work correctly. The dye applied to scalp and skin easily (and was extremely difficult to remove). The dye applied only in patches to the hair, never offering anything remotely like what is portrayed on the package, in the instructions or on the company's website.

Six weeks later the dye is sill visible in patches and has not washed out, but continues to bleed when the hair is wet.

I now have to pursue professional colour correction that is estimated to take 5+ hours at a rate of $150/hr.
During this process, my hair, which is down to my lower back, will have to be taken extremely short in order to not destroy it.

This experience has left me terrified to go out in public and I've had to purchase wigs in order to do so. I'm traumatized over the loss of my image, most of my hair, and my confidence. My social life has suffered. I'm emotionally distraught. My relationship has become strained.

am replaying to the complaint from Layla.

On August 27, 2018 at 3:28pm we received an e-mail from Layla she
wanted a refund. Layla did not explain what product she used. On August 31, 2018 11:10 am , *** our customer
service representative e-mailed her back
asking her for more information. She asked for
proof of purchase and an explanation on how she used the product. *** informed Layla that we couldn't do a cash refund. Layla was informed that we would offer a replacement product of her choice.
We never heard
back from Layla. Layla did not respond to the e-mail. *** was going to
assist her with her complaint, but she never
got back to us. We are not responsible for the decisions she made of going to a
salon if she never responded to our e-mail. Our offer still stands if she
would like, we can replace the product and she can choose any product of her choice.

I am responding to the customer's last rejection letter. Below is the only correspondence we received from the customer. No where in her initial email to us states her hair was damaged. She only states the dye did not leave any color in her hair and washed out after one wash.
In our response to her, we did ask for more information, such as proof of purchase and damage she described. She did not provide any of this to us and in doing so, we were not able to further assist.
Also, We offered Layla product replacement of her choice. We would not have sent her the exact same product that she initially had issues with. If the customer would have responded to our assistance, we would have been able to offer product, free of charge, to aid her in the stain removal and achieving the desired hair results.
We value our customers and appreciate the feedback we are given. As stated in our last correspondence, our offer of a replacement product, of the customer's choice, from our website, still stands.

cleaning up. I could have dealt with that, but despite following the
directions -exactly-, my colour washed out after one shower. Not sure how

I am rejecting this response because:As previously stated, the company did not offer the option for anything other than product replacement and made it very clear this was my only option. Also, my e-mail was sent immediately after use. It was bad from the beginning and it only got worse. The dye -did- rinse out, but only from some areas, leaving my hair splotchy and my scalp and skin stained. Further, I was not fully aware of how much damage was done to my hair until I sought professional help. It took six HOURS for a team of stylists to work together to try and fix my hair. Upon lifting the dye, my hair was left bright pink. Finally, I would like to point out that after doing my research (sadly after the fact), these issues I've had are issues that are common with this product but ignored entirely by the company. They are aware of what their product is doing but they refuse to take responsibility for it or change their product. They willfully and knowingly sell a product they know can and does have disastrous results when used properly. This is why I'm simply asking the company to take responsibility for non-disclosed effects of the proper use of their product when said company is aware of those effects.

Purchased a product called Color Oops that promised on the box "Gently removes permanent & semi permanent hair color, takes only 20 minutes." Cost was $13.99.

First, the instructions specifically state that the PROCESSING time is 20 minutes...shampooing repeatedly and following the directions INSIDE the box takes at least one hour total. Second, the product did not work...the color was not removed, was just left as a streaky, brassy mess.

Tried to contact the company on their website and the "Contact Us" form did not work. Sent an email to the corporate email address, emailed back and forth, sent a photo with the purchase slip, and finally got back an email saying they could not refund my money but I could "pick out another product." The first product trashed my hair...I have no intention of trying any of their other products, I consider this false advertising and wish I had never purchased the product. Their advertising is inaccurate and misleading and they do not stand behind their products.

Customer reached out to us on 03/05/18 about her experience with the Color Oops product. In her original email, she stated she purchased our product to completely strip out the unwanted color, instead of using her usually method of “Prell and baking soda [which] takes about 5 minutes in the shower and lightens hair several shades immediately.”
Customer explained the process timing, when applying the product. She stated, “[it] took 5 minutes to apply, 20 minutes on my head, and 45 minutes of shampooing and rinsing in the shower.” Her results were, her hair lightened a few shades.
We asked for the customer to submit before and after pictures of her hair results, so we can see exactly what has happened. We also addressed the issue of our website not allowing messages to go through. We even ran a test and it did come through.
The customer’s response was to say she is not a selfie addict and is not able to provide us hair result pictures. If we were able to see exactly what the customer is describing as happened, we would have been able to better assist her and explain to her why Color Oops only lifted a few levels of unwanted color and how to best proceed from there.
The attachment that was sent with the copy of her receipt, would not load and gave us an error message, so we are not able to see this picture. We have followed our protocol and still offered to send the customer a replacement to help her achieve the desired hair results, even though she was not able to provide all the requested information. She has refused our help and threatened to trash our business on social media.
After reading the Customer’s complaint on the Revdex.com, if the customer had stated her hair resulted in a brassy color, instead of it lightening a few levels, we would have been able to immediately explain to her that this can happen and how to fix the brassy tones easily. She did not state her hair turned a brassy tone in her original emails.

I am rejecting this response because:
1) The fact remains that the promises on the box are misleading and untrue(i.e., "Takes only 20 minutes" when the instructions on the inside list steps that take over an hour) and 2) I would like a refund, which the company refuses to provide. The file they supposedly could not open is a photo from a cell phone of my receipt. If they have an IT person or department at the company, I am pretty sure someone can explain how to open a photo attachment.

This product did the opposite of what it claims to do (color oops) which is to remove dye particles not natural hair color. My natural hair color was bleached completely white. No color left at all in my natural hair. the dyed part mostly remained the same except for some orange near the roots. I have delicate hair. It's long. I'll have to spend a LOT of money to get this fixed. I want you to pay for this. I never would have used this if you had mentioned this possibility in your advertising. So you are negligent. You are advertising falsely. If this happens to me, it can happen to anyone. YOU MUST change how you advertise this product.

had a resolution to this issue. Our product clearly states what can happen when
artificial color is removed with Color Oops. We won’t be able to reimburse her,
but we can offer her a product replacement and advice. I have reached out to

to help resolved this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:They are lying. The product does not list bleaching of the hair as a possible outcome. It actually says the complete opposite, claiming there is no bleach contained in the product.This business is lying to the public about their product and misrepresenting the product.I wish to let this be know to the public so no one else has to go through the same thing I did. It's a scam.
