Devil Dog Affordable Lawn Care

Review: We hired Devil Dog Inc in February to do some repair of the house. We have provided them with a list what needs to be done and told them my mid of March we would like to have it done. We agreed on the price of 5400 $ and gave them 2000 upfront. In our project included painting, putting floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, repairing deck, installing and painting baseboards around the house, fixing front step and repaired garage, putting new exterior doors.

First they started with painting and we had to address that issue because they had drips and runs on the walls, we also had to buy paint. Out of 10 rooms they only painted 6 rooms were completely painted but with runs. Rest 4 rooms they haven’t touched baseboard nor ceiling. Then, they removed all the doors including bathroom doors in the house and haven’t put them back on for 3 months. When I told them we need doors in the bathrooms, owner respond was “ hang a curtain, and you will be fine”. Later they put floors in the bathroom and left toilet in the bathtub for 3 weeks. The floor they put in obviously don’t look as professional job, because you can see all the cracks where floor come together. Shoe molding in the kitchen instead of installing correctly and cutting angles at 45 degrees they cut it at90 and glue it to they floor, it came out the same day. When they moved to deck, they took out railing from stairs and never put it back. Front step never was touched.

In March we gave them another 2400 Throughout March we tried to communicate that its crucial for to have house finished by the date, because we wanted to put house for sale. Latter same month they attitude changed toward us and they stopped talking to Alexandra didn’t even acknowledge her in her own house. All the request that were made regarding finishing started projects were ignored. Besides that only on rare occasion they would come over with material, a lot of time we had to provide them with tools.

Throughout April we asked them for updated invoice and they haven’t provided that till final payment was supposed to be made. When they came for money Alexandra asked what about everything what is started but not finished. Their responds was “ We gave you discount 15% off”. And still charged us 1500 plus materials we gave them and bought for them.Desired Settlement: WE understand that they done work on our house. However not even at the lowest expectations they left it in disaster. We are not satisfied with work and 15% off, we want refund at the amount they would charge for ceilings, fixing paint and going over of due date by a month . WE want at least 3261.$ back. And their license suspended.
