I apologize that I didn't see an email on the approval of your job on the Friday after it was approved for some of the repairsThe week between the holidays are very busy and I was spending the weekend winding down with my family and not in phone service during the new Years WeekendI did try to return the call on the first business day after the weekendI apparently did not explain to her that we don't work on the weekends or holidays for standard callsI did try to explain that to her in a message I left on 1/2/early in the AM.But the message I got from them at 7:that night was that they were going to hire someone else after she talked it over with her husband
I was contacted by the home owner 1/8/and notified of the problemI informed the home owner that it was something I would need to seeI did offer to come out and look at it to see what the repair was and how it came apart I was told that the pipe that was repaired was in the garage Considering they called Monthes (according to them) after the repair and that also happened to be during the first cold snap of the winterI don't feel asking to set up a time for me to see the problem was unreasonableI was told he would tell his wife and get back to meBut instead of a phone call I received this complaint the next dayI am willing to look at it and will fix it if there is evidence that I did something that was not correct but I can't be responsible for frozen pipes
I am rejecting this response because:The business owner is completely lying as to when he was contacted by us (we have phone records that prove otherwise) and what he said in response to our complaintI am not interested in a dishonest repairman coming back into my home either way and that is not what I requestedUnfortunately, the phone call was not recorded, so we have no proof of what he said he would doMy original request standsAttached is a picture of the pipe for records
If I'm not going to be allowed to look at the situation I'm not willing to refund the customers moneyIt is also past the warranty time periodIf the fitting was not crimped it would have never held water
