$180.00 labor to install customer bought operator. That is all that was quoted and collected. She asked service technician about bottom seal. He told her to get Menard's brand for her door. She left and said she would be back, but didn't return for quite awhile. He was going to install bottom seal at no charge. However, when she didn't return, despite efforts of calls from neighbor to get a hold of her, there was no answer. Service technician had to continue on with his calls. She was informed initially that there is a $90.00 charge to come out that would be applied to the first hour labor. She opted to purchase and have us install her operator at the flat rate of $180.00 labor, which is standard price. There was no other cost incurred.
OFFER:
We will contact customer to set up a time to install her store bought bottom seal at no charge.
We believe this is more than fair as she was informed of any and all charges. We believe her request to receive free yearly inspections and money back is unreasonable. She knew the cost before any work was done. Our offer to install her seal at no charge is, what we believe, more than fair.

First of all the technician said it would take him about ninety minutes to do the work. I was only gone for fifty minutes. Yes the neighbor did call at that time I was in line paying. When I returned the technician was gone. I asked the neighbor he said he called numerous times. I said no he checked his cell realizing he only called me once on cell and a few times it was on my home phone.
Great that they will put on the new rubber but instead of anything refunded may I have a few of inspections since it shouldn't take but a couple of minutes?
I am sorry if it sounded unreasonable I was always told it never hurts to ask.
