Review: Last week,upon the suggestion of the manufacturer of my product I wanted to buy, I went to DeWalts Health Foods Store in Butler, PA 16002. I did my research prior to sale to be absolutely certain that I could get my initial $60.00 cash returned to me, if the product did not work on me. The manuf said "yes,absolutely". I went to the physical store in Butler to purchase it immediately. The price in store for my tub of ointment was $58.00 before tax. That night, I used the product as directed and my already bad skin condition got much much worse, in the morning, I tried once more & same reaction! At the last resort, my skin was open sores and bleeding and since I have no insuran e, I had to call around for a Dermetologist who would even take me. After an emergency trip to the dermatologist, Dr. said to me do not use the ointment and return it. Following day, my original receipt with the original box and the unused portion, I attempted to return it to the same DeWalts store in Butler. The manager in a very nasty tone, only THEN informed me that they don't give money back they only issue store credit regardless of original receipt is present. I said I was NEVER told that and since I paid cash, I need that cash back to pay other medical bills now, instead. The manager [redacted] became very nasty saying I should have seen the paper stating the no cash refunds policy, so it was my own fault and they will not take their own product back, even though the manuf. company told me to take my unused portion back to the retail store and they should absolutely refund me, if not, they would contact the business business directly. Today I was back at the Butler store once more to tell the manager, [redacted], about this and she began Yelling her answer to me through the clerk, stating "Tell Her NO, the answer is still NO she isn"t getting her money back, I don't care WHO she talked to" At that point, I waited and the manager never came out of the back room to tell me this to my face. I waited several min longer,Desired Settlement: The only thing I am needing at this time is refunded purchase price of $58.00 plus tax, since I can not use a store credit at any store (and I was NEVER even offered one as a return when this mess began),I am not close to the DeWalts store to use a merchandise credit. However, since I had the allergic reaction to the product and needed to get an emergency apt at dermatologist, I certainly need the money back to pay dermatologist instead. I was never offered money back or store credit.
