Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am not satisfied with Dewayne's Auto Shop's response to my complaintI am attaching his response As I stated in my original complaint, Dewayne told me that he put 1/quarts of specialty fluid in my Volkswagen PassatAfter taking my car to another mechanic, I found out that Dewayne had put less than quart of fluid (that was certainly NOT the specialty type of fluid my car requires) in my carThe receipt from [redacted] that Dewayne has attached to his response is illegible, so that does not prove that he put the specialty fluid in my carYou can barely make out that the receipt is only for items and the price totaled to what appears to be $30; I was charged $for 1/quarts of fluid Again, there was only quart of fluid in my car when I took it to another mechanic and it was NOT the specialty fluid my car requires, not to mention that the other mechanic stated that my car requires almost quarts of fluidDewayne's Auto nearly ruined my transmission and charged me for fluid that was not put in my car I would like a refund of $ Regards, [redacted] ***

I have taken several vehicles to Dewayne's and he is very good and he is very reasonable on his pricingI will contuine to take my vehicles to him and will highly recommend him

vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap background-">This is my reply as to the complaint *** filed against me by *** *** on her VW PassetHer father called me and said that *** had hit something and tore a line off of her car he said it needed a transmission line and fluid in itHe asked me if I could put the line on and the fluid in, he said her car was not running so (*** Towing) towed the car to my business on Friday 10/4/I replaced the line and put the recommend fluid in it
I called *** on Saturday 10/5/and told her that her car
was readyShe came and picked it up she left and about
minutes later she called and said that her car was running like it was before and I informed her that I didn't know how it ran before and that l was instructed to put the line on and fluid in it and that was all that I didI am enclosing a copy of the bill, receipts for fluid and the towing billParts cost was and I only charged her for labor
