Review: We were contacted several times from DEX Communications advising us that we have an outstanding balance of over $700 for business advertising however, our company has NEVER authorized any such service. I explained this to the woman on the phone twice and she said she would have a invoice faxed over to show these charges they are trying to get us to pay, however has failed to do so but continues to call daily to advise us of this open balance. It's out of hand, we never authorized anything therefore should not have a bill with this company.Desired Settlement: This company needs to stop contacting us indefinitely and remove any "charges" they so call think we owe them as we never authorized anything to begin with.

Review: In Nov of 2014, I received a dex customer phone call stating I owed money for an online advertising for our small business. The call asked if I wanted to renew an online service, I said no, and I do not really recall ever agreeing to a subscription - which dex claims I agreed to in 2013. I made three payments to close our account in November - $340.30 on Nov **, $500.00 on Nov ** and another $500.00 on Nov [redacted]. The payment on the [redacted] was done via check by phone and I asked to have final payment recorded and removed from dex list. Today, June [redacted] I receive another call from a dex employee. A [redacted], telling me I have yet another charge of $750.00 to pay, to close the account! He insists it is a legitimate charge for a business listing. He does the check by phone form and sends an email with the Final Charge, and says I will now be removed from the customer list. I feel these charges were not up front, I am not even sure I agreed to a contract of any kind ... and when I told that to [redacted], he told me it would be another $500 dollars if I wanted them to look up the phone authorization.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my payment of $750.00 that I made today. I think it is unfair to leave charges until months later and say ... sorry our employee made a mistake and should have charged you more! I would also like others to be aware of the way Dex uses hidden charges and for Dex to be up front about their hidden charges. I even wonder if this is a scam?
