On Aug.22,2013, customer approved 2hrs. diagnostic time. On Aug. 27, informed customer that he needed a replacement engine. Customer approved the $3300 estimate. On Sept. 30th customer requested a replacement heater core also. The 1st...
engine was found bad-it took two weeks to get replacement. It takes approx. 1 month to properly R&R an engine. Thought the 2nd engine might have blown head gasket-Had heads re-surfaced and re-installed. Customer has agreed at this time, to pay $1000.00 more for a rebuilt engine that comes with a 3 year warranty.
Customer has been given a loaner vehicle ( no charge for the loaner - need proof of insurance and pays for the gas that he uses) to drive until his vehicle is ready to go.
We have kept [redacted] updated, most of the unavoidable delays have been out of our control: ie: using used replacement engines-per customers request, engines that were found-not good, etc.

Delivery date is the issue. The January 24, 2014 delivery date was not met and a new delivery date of February 8, 2014 is now the new delivery date. If this new date is not met, I want [redacted] to have the car towed to another shop that will make my car a priority and pay all expenses or everyday passed the February 8th due date, $200 per day be subtracted from the amount owed until delivery of the car. I'm hoping these options will persuade him to make my car a priority. SIX MONTHS is completely an unacceptable time to service any car. I've been more than patient and am tired of excuses which he seems to have plenty of.

2/14 - meet with [redacted] face to face & showed him whats goin on at this time . We sent out injectors to be tested & 3 injectors were bad . Had injector cleaned. We told we would keep him informed after injectors are installed . I was trying to install injectors Friday afternoon
