Review: When we moved to our home in the country in 2007, we contracted with Deyo Disposal to pick up our garbage. We paid them monthly. After some time, we asked if we could pay quarterly, to avoid the possibility of forgetting to pay. We were told yes and there was no mention of any fees or penalties for pre-paying. Our last payment to them was on 7/10/15 in the amount of $54, which would have been for August, Sept and possibly October. We called on 7/29 to cancel our service and were told they did not issue refunds. I advised that we were never told they did not issue refunds and that we wanted them to refund our overpayment. She refused and said they don't issue refunds. I advised that I would be contacting my bank about cancelling my payment with the bank. After contacting my bank, I was advised that the transaction was complete, so I could not cancel it. I called Deyo back on 9/28 and request a refund again and again spoke with [redacted], she indicated they do not give refunds. I advised that we were being forced to pay for a service that they didn't provide. She advised that they would have picked our garbage up, but I explained that they picked up our garbage bin shortly after we called and cancelled the service. I again asked her to refund our money since they didn't provide any service and were keeping money that was not rightfully theirs. She refused and hung up on me.Desired Settlement: Would like a refund of the money not owed them as they did not supply service after 7/31 and they picked up the garbage can, so we could not have used their services after that date.
