Review: I have a driveway they installed less than a year ago and after repeated calls over 5 months they have not called me.

On 9/13/2012, diezel paving installed a driveway at mt home in [redacted]. On 9/17/2012 they were paid in full for $8954. For the job. The next day a rainstorm washed away the dirt they had put there to protect the sides and parts started to collapse. They were notified immediately but they didn't come to fix till 9/21/2012. In the spring of 2013, 4 areas on the side started to crack. I called repeatedly over the past 5 mos. and never got a call back. I personally talked to carol several times and still no call. The builder of my house who recommended them has called 3 times in the last month and they haven't called him back. They give a 2 year warranty as is advertised on their web site. Which also says they come back in a year to check for small problems before they become massive. I don't know what else to do to have them come look at driveway and stand behind their work Desired Settlement: I want them to call me and arrange a time to look at my driveway and provide some solutions on how to fix before the problem is massive.

Deziel Paving installed the driveway on [redacted] The homeowner had topsoil delivered before the driveway was installed so they could backfill the driveway after paving & plant grass to stabilize the soil & prevent erosion. The driveway was paved & while some of the employees were loading equipment, 2 employees took it upon themselves to spread some of the topsoil on site along the edges of the driveway because there was noting else for them to do for about 15 minutes. Nowhere in the contract does it say that we were responsible for spreading topsoil & it states that "homeowner is responsible for seed & hay".there was a torrential rainstorm some time after the driveway was paved & because of the topography of the lot, the water run off washed out the edges of the driveway. The customer called & we looked at the driveway. The driveway washing out was not our fault, but, we sent a crew out to repair the damage free of charge. This was, in no way a warranty issue. We repaired the driveway out of the goodness of our heart.

We can not be responsible for natural disasters.

We will gladly provide a quote for the cost of the repair work.

The company did not offer a solution. I agree I was suppose to seed and hay. The top soil was there because they told me to have it delivered so they could back fill which they did. All I am asking for is the decency of a call back so that I can understand the alternatives I now have for fixing small cracks before they become major problems. I do not understand why that is so hard.
