In August 2017, I purchased a brand new car at Honda of OaklandLater in August or early September, I returned my car to the dealership to have an after market alarm installed on the car that I purchased when I purchased my carThe alarm team did not install the alarm correctly and now the back door locking system on my brand new car doesn't work and I am having issues with the entire locking systemAlthough I have tried to have this fixed, the Service Department manager does not return my calls so that I can have my car fixedDue to the ineptitude of the service department staff at Honda of Oakland, I asked that he arrange it so I could take my car to another dealershipI never heard back
I had been shopping for a car for more than months and I didn't see anything that I really liked as well experience the customer service that I was expectingI am from Sacramento so me going to the bay to by a car wasn't likelyI found a bmw that I liked and they were able to get the deal done with exceptional service and no gamesSammy the used car sales manager was honest and helpfulThe sales rep Ira was understanding and knowledgeableI didn't feel pushed by himhe was nice..Then the finace guy sammy velasco handled me wellthey have a good team

Thanks for taking an interest in customer relations for the state of CaliforniaMy previous experience with Honda of Oakland’s repairs have been positive and completeIn February, I bought a Civic LX that was sold as a “two year old car”, a CPO with a 48K and 100K WarrantyThis is my third Honda both of these other cars have had excellent A/C systems and I’ve never complained about the repair of any of my vehicles to date until nowWhat I want is Honda of Oakland to repair the AC system to the working CPO specs, which they were suppose to have done on 2/12/before I bought the car, this time not masking the problem by just putting freon in it, but actually fixing it using the dye to find the leakOn 2/11/Prior to the purchase we took the car to Berkeley Minicar: paperwork (available) which informed us that the (AC) Air Conditioning system did not meet the specs for the carWe took it back to Honda of OaklandWe recently found these records in Oakland (included)O
I purchased a brand new Honda Fit from Honda of OaklandJanuary after lots of rain the back of my driver side passenger carpet was soaked in waterApparently a door seal inside the back door was not sealed all the way so the seal was fixed and the carpet replacedJanuary after some rains I check the back driver side passenger carpet and again wetI notice that a stream of water was coming from my front driver side door and flowing back to the rear carpetI take the vehicle in and they could not replicate the leak of the front door but proceed to seal up the door even though no leak was foundThey then proceeded to do leak test with the sunshades I had on the car and water as seen going onto the windowThey stated the issue is with the sunshades however after some research online I found others having the exact same issue and mine with the front door leakingNow that they have sealed the front driver side door they cannot prove that the vehicle got wet from a manu
