Review: We purchased some facial cream from the DFS duty free shop at T4 JFK airport. We paid for the goods with a bankers card ($109) and the cream was placed in a sealed bag and taken to the boarding gate for us to collect when we boarded our plane to the UK (Flight VS46 on * May 2013). When we arrived in the UK we opened the goods to find that the glass jar was broken and the cream inside had turned yellow and hardend. It was clear that the jar has been broken for some time because the cream was almost crusty, yet the box was completely undamaged. We contacted DFS on our return home via the customer services email, we've heard nothing. After contacting their support centre we spoke to [redacted] who said he would look into the issue. We have called on 3 further occasions and spoken to [redacted] and he has still to advise what DFS intend to do about the situation. We are obviously unable to return the item, but have sent pictures via email so that they can see the damage to the jar and the state of the cream. We believe that because we are resident in the UK this issue is not important to DFS, which is wholly unacceptable. It is clear that the goods were damaged before we boarded the plane.Desired Settlement: We would like DFS to do the honorable thing and refund us the cost of the cream. If they truely respected their customers, they would also look at compensating us for the long distance calls we have had to make to try and resolve this issue. We conatcted DFS orignally the day we landed in the UK (* May 2013). It is now ** June and we are no nearer to resolving the issue. If DFS were to offer to replace the cream, this would also be acceptable.

Review: I asked the saleswoman how many cigarettes I can legally bring to Tel Aviv and she gave me a box of 5 cartons. When I arrived in Tel Aviv, I discovered that in fact you can only bring 2 cartons. The customs agent confiscated the remaining 3 cartons. DFS should reimburse me for 3 cartons since their saleswoman lied to me.Desired Settlement: Refund me for 3 cartons.
