early this summer; as DFT Communications is a reseller of both telephone and internet services through what is called a Co-Location service arrangement with Verizon.Internet services were installed on 6/10/On 6/13/16, customer was notified via email that service had Initiated on 6/10/and an inquiry ~s to the quality assurance of the service was requestedCustomer responded via email that he was able to gain access to only and not able to 'surf the internetDFT tried to reach out via cell, but was unable to make contact with customerDFT Immediately emailed the customer with a plan to replace the modem and offered to deliver it at no charge: however, the customer declined and requested to pick up the modem from our Fredonia office- On 6/14/16, DFT reached out to customer via email and offered to deliver it againCustomer picked up the new modem on 6/15/and reported the same trouble from 6/13/The DFT Network internet te~m verified service was active since 6/10/Although OFT offered to provide a free premise visit and/or attempt remote troubleshooting, it was not accepted or declinedWe had hoped to resolve the service issue as promptly as possibleSubsequently, DFT has cancelled the service effective 7/26/and will pro-rate credit for the service back to the new service installation date of 6/10/Client Is being released from any contractual obligation, without any penaltyDFT regrets that we were not approved to visit or remotely troubleshoot to guarantee service satisfaction and/or have the most effective communication path with the client; especially as we celebrate our 118'h year of service.Although DFT Communications has already created, printed, and mailed an August billing statement, we ask this business client to not pay for any previous or current billing (s) and shred all billing statements .DFT Communications wishes the best of endeavors and prosperity for this business client
