DFW Homebuyers Reviews (2)

I had inherited a home when my father passed away and I decided to sell itIt needed work and was rather far away from where I live so it was not convenient for me to go to the property I called a few investors and a realtorI thought I might sell to one investor but when I discovered he was paying himself 3% commission, I was not happyAfter all, I called him - exactly what work did he do to earn a commission? I thought it was very sneaky as it paid him money out of the offer he gave me PLUS he expected me to pay all closing costs! The realtor I liked but since the place needed work and had foundation issues, I was concerned about inspections and dealing with buyer negotiationsFix this, do that etc, etcI just really didn't want to deal with that I contacted a rather well known company, John D' [redacted] They were nice but really lowballed me on the offer AND said that was contingent only on inspections etc And so, I got so lucky when I googled DFW Homebuyers, filled out their short online questionnaire and was contacted by a very positive fellow named JamesHe was sharp and on itHe went to the place the next day, called me with a very fair quote which made me happy and I accepted immediatelyHe assured me the offer was what I would have IN MY POCKET at closingAnd, you know what? It was true! He offered to have me closed and paid within days (they actually sent me proof of funds to my email) but since my father had passed I needed a month to get the place cleanedoutI liked that my situation was no problemThey let me take the time I neededThe place was closed in a month and I was paid the full amount I was promised and they paid ALL the closing costsThe only thing I paid was the property taxes and the title company took that out of the settlement and handled that for meFolks, it really was sooo easy and honest and upfrontThe hardest thing was cleaning out the placeMy only regret is I never even got to meet James at allHe's a real fireball of energyI enjoyed working with him very muchWe only dealt with one another through email, calls and mainly texts which worked for meGreat company, great experienceThey made a very stressful situation easy and took a big load off of my shouldersAppreciate these guys so much

I contacted a rather well known company, John D'[redacted]. They were nice but really lowballed me on the offer AND said that was contingent only on inspections etc.
And so, I got so lucky when I googled DFW Homebuyers, filled out their short online questionnaire and was contacted by a very positive fellow named James. He was sharp and on it. He went to the place the next day, called me with a very fair quote which made me happy and I accepted immediately. He assured me the offer was what I would have IN MY POCKET at closing. And, you know what? It was true! He offered to have me closed and paid within 3 days (they actually sent me proof of funds to my email) but since my father had passed I needed a month to get the place cleaned. out. I liked that my situation was no problem. They let me take the time I needed. The place was closed in a month and I was paid the full amount I was promised and they paid ALL the closing costs. The only thing I paid was the property taxes and the title company took that out of the settlement and handled that for me. Folks, it really was sooo easy and honest and upfront. The hardest thing was cleaning out the place. My only regret is I never even got to meet James at all. He's a real fireball of energy. I enjoyed working with him very much. We only dealt with one another through email, calls and mainly texts which worked for me. Great company, great experience. They made a very stressful situation easy and took a big load off of my shoulders. Appreciate these guys so much.
