Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below I did purchase the storm door from Home Depot And yes it was installed by DFWdoors However, if you allowed your workers to install a defective door, then that is on the DFWDOORS company (you) Furthermore, the door would actually lock from the inside until a representative [redacted] came to repair it After he disassembled the door, it no longer locks from the inside, which is worse than before I reject your defense and asset that if you had been quicker to respond to my initial complaints six months prior, the issue of the manufacturer would have come up sooner Now, all of a sudden you want to blame it on a "defective" door Regards, [redacted]
I have responded to Ms *** directly, but heres my replyWe installed several doors for her last yearShe supplied the storm doorWe can not warranty doors we do not supply, but we do warranty our workThe door was defective and not an issue due to workmanshipWe offered to order the parts
and fix for herI had been in contact with the manufacturer just before she filed the complaint and I pulled upWe are a fair company but she somehow feels we should replace the door just because we installed itI don’t think this is rightWe are happy to install a new door for her free of charge or repair the one she has if she wants to secure the parts herself. When I say install a door free of charge, that means labor only, not a new door tooSincerely, *** *** * *** *** ***

I did purchase the storm door from Home Depot. And yes it was installed by DFWdoors.
However, if you allowed your workers to install a defective door, then
that is on the DFWDOORS company (you). Furthermore, the door would actually lock from the
inside until a representative [redacted] came to repair it. After he
disassembled the door, it no longer locks from the inside, which is worse than before. I reject your defense and asset that if you had been quicker to respond to my initial complaints six months prior, the issue of the manufacturer would have come up sooner. Now, all of a sudden you want to blame it on a "defective" door.
