ZERO STARS
FYI - MrG***'s company listed as DG Customs is not listed on Revdex.comHis company listed as DG Mobile Maintenance has the Revdex.com Member on his website, but the Revdex.com says he is NOT a member
On May 27th, 2018, one of MrG***'s mechanics came to my house and determined that my car's Timing Belt was broken and that my Engine had BURNED OUT"You really need a new engine"
We had agreed to a verbal amount of $for my Engine to be replaced by a NISSAN 20K used EngineI assumed he meant he was going to be installing a WORKING 20K engineThe additional items listed I understood to be required as necessary parts to complete that replacementI gave MrG*** permission to put the estimate into writing and start the procedure for fixing the car
On June 13th, 2018, MrG*** personally picked up my car
Total Paid $ - Cashier's Check
I also paid a fee not listed for replacement of front brakes
I never received any Statements, Invoices or Receipts for the brakes purchases or installationI have no proof for my Mechanical records that I ever had this work done
Listed under Labor is "R & R Engine and Transfer Parts." Next to that is hours at a rate of $50.00/hr, for a total charge of $1,I thought this statement referred to "Remove and Replace", taking the old engine out and putting the 20K mile engine in and the Labor Costs associatedI did not understand that statement meant, per MrG*** in text that "parts on the old engine were transferred from the old engine to the new engine." I believe that NOTHING from the old engine should have been placed into my 20K engineThat means that my engine has been rebuilt and not replaced, explaining why I am now having problems with failing parts that should be 20,000K old, but were not replaced
A clerical error was made and the Timing Belt was left off the Invoice, but there was a clear verbal understanding that a NEW timing belt would be providedAlso the front brakes were replaced after all engine work was completed, but I never received any paperwork on that work
On June 23rd, 2018, MrG*** delivered my car back to meHe told me I had a Day Warranty on all work done and a Day Warranty on the 20K engineI did not receive the 12,000/month Warranty as advertised on MrG***'s website
On July 15th, 2018, my NEW Timing Belt brokeMrG*** came to my house on July 17th, and replaced the Timing Belt, AGAINHe told me that there was no Timing Belt listed on the InvoiceThe original Timing Belt was unusable, and he did not replace it with a new timing belt as was discussedI find it hard to believe a new Timing Belt would fail in daysHe tried to explain that it happened because the Timing Belt was not on the InvoiceIf you are putting a car back together and a part is missing, you put the part in and adjust the InvoiceI can only imagine where the Timing Belt that failed on the 15th came from
On July 18th, my "Check Engine" light came onThree days after my Timing Belt brokeI immediately contacted MrG*** who informed me it was "Not an engine failure"After several texts he informed me, "...unless it blows up nothing else is covered."
After texts back and forth on July 18th, 2018, regarding my pressing that the "Check Engine Light" meant something was wrong with the ENGINE, and MrG*** explaining he does not cover ANY "Check Engine Light" issues, MrG*** told me to "take it to a local mechanic shop and see what they say." He did not say to run a system check, but to have a mechanic "see what they say." He then waited three days to tell me that if ANY OTHER mechanic but MrG*** himself works on my car the Warranty is immediately voidAt this point I cannot get MrG*** to respond to a request for a Full 20k Warranty Engine check, but I am not allowed to have any other mechanic work on the engineSince Monday, July 30, 2018, I am without a car and and a refusal of service from MrG***I am borrowing my mother's car as much as possible because I am concerned about driving the car with bad Ignition Coil(s)
On July 20th, 2018, MrG*** text me and informed me that "NO ONE can go into the engine and it be covered, other than his company without me contacting him first"The Warranty is strictly and only through my company....Warranty companies only pay the original service shopAnd only after they have us do several tests and have us take pictures and videos." I took the car to AutoZone and had a diagnostic performedThe results were that the "Spark Plugs were misfiring"I was told this particular error may also indicate an Ignition Coil issueI text MrG*** copies of the test resultsHe did text, "If you get in the car turn the key and the engine does run, I have to collect the car call the company run the tests they want me to run send them the results and then wait for them to send me approvalGetting the car to my location will cost $200.00" Again he posted, "Check Engine light is not covered"The next text I received stated that if I did not like the suggestion regarding the tests, I could contact the Revdex.com, and he would explain the situation to themHe text, "either way I would not have the car for at least a week."
On July 27th, 2018, I sent a text to MrG*** requesting that we make arrangements for me to bring the car to him for whatever tests are necessaryI told him that I had been told Ignition Coil issues would cause the same misfire resultsI received no response
On July 28th, 2018, I sent MrG*** a text stating I did not want to bring the car to him yet because the "Check Engine" light had gone outI told him it would be a waist of time to run the tests if the error was not longer "active"I did tell him I was sure there was a problem and that the "Check Engine Light" would come on again, giving him an opportunity to offer the chance to repair the issue
On July 30th, 2018, I sent MrG*** screen prints of results of another system check I had done at another local AutoZoneThis test revealed that it was the Ignition Coil(s) that was misfiringI asked and was assured that an Ignition Coil IS part of the Engine and SHOULD be covered under a Standard Engine WarrantyI sent MrG*** a very detailed text detailing the service issues I had and my expectations for resolutionI requested a response within hoursAs of August 5th, 2018, I have had no response of any kind from MrG***
On August 2nd, 2018, I sent MrG*** a text stating I wanted to invoke my Engine Warranty and deliver my car to him to have whatever tests/videos needed to be done to enable the Engine Warranty Company to have permission to replace the necessary parts on my carI requested that MrG*** either set the appointment date or give me permission to take the car to another mechanic for repair at HIS expenseRight now my Warranty states "Only the ORIGINAL MECHANIC" can work on the car to maintain the Warranty and he refuses to contact meAs of August 5th, 2018, I have received no response
After several attempts, I have not had any response from MrG*** since July 27th,
On August 5, 2018, I sent a text to MrG*** requesting the contact information for the Engine Company where the 20K mile engine was purchased with the associated WarrantyI also asked for all available identification information on the 20K engine he received from the company he purchased the engine fromBefore I made that request, I went to look at the engine to see if I could find that information on the engineWhat I found was a "hole" in the engine similar to a medium sized bullet holeNothing belongs in the holeI am sure the attitude was, "it won't affect how the car runs," which has been how everything else has been
I sent a text that stated, "If I do not hear from you, MrG***, by 5:pm on Thursday, August 16th, 2018, to make arrangements to complete repairs on my car by taking the suggested tests/videos required by 20K Warranty Company to allow the installation of NEW Ignition Coil(s), under my 20K Engine Warranty Company, I will have no choice but to file a suit against youAny damages to my car as a result of driving it with bad Ignition Coil(s) will be the responsibility of DG Customs and or the 20k Engine Warranty depending upon who refused to honor what Warranty
I regret that it has come to this, but being virtually without a car, living where I live is quite difficult as well as dangerousThe fact that I am my mother's primary care giver and I cannot trust my car every time I turn the engine over or while it is running and the "Check Engine Light" light comes on, KNOWING there is an ACTUAL ENGINE problem causes tremendous stress
I am uncomfortable driving a car with a "Check Engine Light" onMrG*** assures me it is nothingThe last time I ran the car with a "Check Engine Light" on, I "burned the engine to bits", apparently, according to MrG***'s Associate
I have never received ANY of the requested paperwork regarding identification of the company where the engine was purchased (Invoice of purchased 20K engine) or ANY identifying information on the engine such as a serial numberI also never received a Copy of ANY of the Warranty's I requestedI supposedly have had a day Parts and Labor, a Month Parts and Labor Warranty and a Year Labor WarrantySounds great if you can get the mechanic to contact you

I must say that this company is AWESOME!!!! I have used this company a few times to fix my car and I was VERY satisfied with the work. Each mechanic that I dealt with was very professional and prompt with the service that was received. Recently had car trouble on my Honda.
I remember getting a card from one of the techs in [redacted] for a Mobile repair company. I gave them a call and they dispatched someone out to me within an hour since I stay so far out . Tech came and I paid my $65 diagnosis fee which was part of full repair for my car. HE looked it up the part got and brought it back worked on my car in the parking lot where it broke down. It took him an hour to fix it. I paid $150 to fix my car. I was ecstatic when he was done. I wanted to let you guys know this is a great company to get your vehicle fixed on the spot if they cant fix it on the spot they will come get your car and fix it at the shop. Prices range depends on the job ..I was happy with their service and would recommend them to all my friends and family.
thanks D G Mobile you guys are a life saver
