They were fast and thorough. Dustin came out, explained the process and walked me through how everything would be done. They notified me ahead of time as I had requested, and completed the tear-off and the new decking and shingles in a single day.

I would highly recommend them.

Thank you Jamie! We appreciate you business.

Roof looks amazing! Dustin the sales guy was professional, courteous, and above all knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and was prompt at answering his phone. He also dealt with my Home owners association, so kudos to him for doing that! Overall very satisfied.

There were two very minor warranty repairs that needed to be made- but we're handled promptly.

Front desk was good at informing when my materials were being delivered and when the job would start. As well as following up with me to see if I had any concerns after the job was done.

Thanks for the good work and professionalism.

They charged me for a tear off on my roof when I did not ask for one and was told the money would be refunded and it wasn't. Did not repair skylights.
They did a tear off on my garage when I asked them not to and when I called and told *** that they were doing a tear off he said that it looks like I was getting one for free and then was charged. It took them twice to repair the flashing on chimney. The fascia was put on incorrect and when I complained they said it was because of the weather and something they could not control. The fascia on the back of the house came off and when I called to let them know they said it was because of the tornado ( my insurance disagrees). On January the fascia on the front of the house was hanging off. When I contacted D & G Roofing I was giving estimate of 600 to fix it since I now live in a tornado path. The payment was paid by a loan and I called to ask if I could add more to the loan I was informed they had already added an extra 500 to my loan which I did not agree to. They charged me an extra 300 dollars to repair the skylights because the roof dipped in after it was already agreed to in the contract and charged for removing and deck over skylights. When I asked the employees of D & G why it was dipping they told they were not carpentered. I have a 2 year labor warranty and lifetime workman ship labor.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to repair all thefascia on the front and back of my house properly and also refund me the money for the tear of my roof that I was charged for. Also, I would like the skylights inspected to make sure the deck over was done right.

To Whom It May Concern

We are sorry that Ms *** feels the way she does. We do our best every day to make sure that our
customers are happy.
Ms *** was not charged with the tear off of her garage. She was charged for a layover and the
installers did not pay attention to the work order well and tore off the shingles. Our mistake, no charge
was ever made for it. We informed her that she received a free tear off.
We did the flashing on her chimney per our contract.
We did go out and look at the fascia in question, to find that the wind had ripped it from the home. The
metal was actually ripped. She lives very close to where the tornadoes touched down and it was
apparent that it was wind damage. She claims her insurance company disagrees. Insurance companies
disagree on claim damages all the time. If we felt that it was an installation problem, we would have
taken care of it for her. I have included a photo of the fascia in question.
Parts of her repairs were paid by financing and part through a city program. Ms *** claims that we
added money on to her loan without her knowledge. No financing company allows us to add monies to
a loan without the borrowers consent.
As for the $300 to deck over the skylights, she did not have the funds so I put her on a 1 year payment
plan to pay for it. This is not our standard policy; we were trying to help her out. In house payment
plans are difficult to deal with for bookkeeping issues. For that reason, in December, I told her Merry
Christmas, I am considering your $300 loan paid in full with several months left to pay.
Labor Warranties are just that. They do not cover storm events or any kind of act of God.
We do not feel that we should be responsible for these repairs or any refunds for work she was not
charged for. We would be happy to fix her fascia for the quoted price.

I heard activity going on in my attic after high winds and rain. I went outside to take inventory of what might be the cause and found that the fascia and gutter had pulled away from the rafters. I contacted D & G roofing and spoke with Gerri the owner. She sent out the field supervisor Mike who determined the issues. He promptly gave me the estimate for repair. The materials arrived in a timely fashion. Within two weeks the gutters and down spouts were replaced by Chad and Steve, who were very polite. They cleaned up and hauled away all of the old materials. No evidence of the work that had been done except for the new product on the house. I would highly recommend D & G roofing to anyone that has an issue. In addition there was no pressure in over selling.
thank you for the excellent job.

Great customer service owner provided personal oversite of the job. Salesman was very involved every step along the way. Great workmanship. When the job was complete workers did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. Very competitive pricing.

D&G Roofing came out quickly to assess our leak, found the problem and gave us a reasonable quote for repair. The repair was completed sooner than estimated and the leak was stopped. I will continue to do business with D&G as they've never disappointed me. I look forward to having them put on an entirely new roof in the future!

This is the second issue D & G has fixed with my roof. They worked at it until it was done the way I wanted. I appreciate the way they responded to my concerns. I do not always expect a company to get it right every time. But I do expect them to work at it until it is done correctly. This they did. This is one of the reasons that I highly recommend them.

D&G did a great job replacing the siding on our home. From the original estimate through the final walk-through, the employees were professional, friendly and job conscientious. The minor issues that were encountered, were handled cheerfully, efficiently, and in a timely manner, to our satisfaction. I highly recommend D&G, and would use them again in the future.

Thank you Travis for the kind words. We appreciate your business very much

Working with D&G was so easy and they communicated with me every step of the way. My initial phone call was answered by a live person (didn't have to leave a voicemail), had an estimate appointment within a couple days, and I received a confirmation email with the details for my estimate appointment including the estimator's name. The estimator was knowledgeable and thorough. Follow up after the appointment was excellent. I would recommend using D&G and would use them again.

Repairs to warrantied work needed.
I had soffit replaced by this company less than a year ago and I have recently noticed several areas that need repaired. I called the company about the repairs and they sent out *** about a week later to assess the areas. He said that he would put in a work order and someone would contact me. A week went by and a received no contact. After that week went by, I contacted the company myself and they told me that someone would be contacting me soon. Another week went by with no response from the company. I contacted them again on May 1st and spoke with *** She assured me that I would receive a call back from her with a response by the end of the day. I never received a response. The soffit is getting worse and I am afraid that if the company does not repair it, it may be a bigger than expected repair. I am concerned by the lack of communication by the company. I also experienced this lack of communication during the original install.

Desired Outcome

I would like the company to repair the soffit (as they stated it is under warrenty) winthin a resonable time frame that can be scheduled. I understand that a roofing company can have weather delays but at least a timeframe of a week or so that they can promise the repair would be resonable to me. Also, communication seems to be poor. Proper communication and follow through goes a long way.

Customer Response • May 10, 2019

The company swiftly made the necessary repairs. I am satisfied with the response. No further action is needed.

We had our roof replaced by this company, they left us without a vent for our range which was supposed to remain
I am reaching out due to a bad experience that is still troubling my husband and I, last year this company replaced our roof.

The main person we dealt with was ***, with whom we cannot get in contact with. I am hopefully reaching out to the owner of the business as per the Revdex.com.

This project was fully covered by our insurance. It was easy enough reaching your company and agreeing to the work but then we began having problems.

Once work began a team was at our home at 7 am beginning work. That first day they parked several vehicles, a dumpster, plus supplies into our driveway. It blocked us into our home which was contradictory to what *** had specified. We were asked which side of the driveway should be left clear, we indicated the right side closest to the front door which was not honored. It took until after 11am to get a hold of someone because everyone at our home spoke only Spanish. Once an English speaking person arrived, we were able to ask them to move so we could get to work. We had lost wages due to this incident but it did not repeat so we moved on.

The work crew quickly replaced the roof and moved on. They failed to clean up a good majority of the small debris and we are still cleaning it up off our property. *** advised it would all be professionally cleaned up, it was not. He also specified we would have a final inspection of the work, we had a few appointments booked for it but every time he called to cancel. Last time we were just finished, he said we'd get a mailed gift basket - again never happened.

The roof seemed like it was completed correctly and professionally until around Winter we noticed our Dryer not drying clothes and becoming hot. We went on the roof to see if there was a clog only to find the dryer venting still had the OEM plastic still on it. We removed that and then discovered the dryer venting was never reassembled. All this time the dryer was venting into our attic and we found burnt/singed insulation and a mass of dryer lint. This was a fire hazard just waiting to ignite. We reattached everything and ensured it was proper and moved on. Upset but continued on, thankfully nothing terrible happened.

Now this brings us to our latest problem. In the beginning we went over the details with ***, all appliance/utility venting was to be maintained except for the few roof vents to cool the attic which would be changed to ridge vents. The ridge venting has been great, the consistency of the existing vents not so much as evident by the dryer fiasco. One point that we discussed with Hayden was that our range hood had a roof vent, we did not have it connected at the moment (warm summer) but will in the future so that vent had to be maintained. They didn't have to connect the stove but the vent needed to be left available. They did not leave the vent. There is however a nice new piece of boarding and roofing where it once was. The pipe came loose and is just sitting in the attic under it (have pictures) but the most important aspect is gone.

My husband called and eventually *** came out. He said the roofers probably thought it was an attic cooling vent and removed it for the ridge venting conversion. He gave us a $675 estimate and asked if we wanted the work done. We declined. So I am reaching out to you the owner this way in hopes we can avoid any further negativity. We had a stove vent and now we do not, we paid almost $20k for the roof to be replace and have had far too much excess issues including a potential fire hazard. I would like your company to honor the original plan and put in a vent for the range hood. We still will do the rest of the installation but we deserve to have that vent back. It doesn't have to be anything expensive, the baseline average vent for our range hood is all that is needed.

Desired Outcome

the vent installed

Revdex.com spoke to company representative on the phone who indicated they have reached out to the consumer and went to the home on 11-12-18 and installed the roof vent for the consumer. The business indicated they believe the consumer is now satisfied.

Customer Response • Nov 14, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Update: I was able to get in touch with ***, wife owner, she really did seem to care about our issues. The person we dealt with for our project was let go not long after which explains much of our bad experience. She was kind and understanding and worked to make a resolution possible for everyone to be happy. I can attest that if you have a problem, she is the one to contact, she will make things right. In the end we did get our issues resolved and it went a long way to remedying our experience. Original Review: Terrible experience and no support on issues, can't even get in touch with the owner. Our roof was replaced last year, it was about $20k and we have had some terrible and potentially dangerous issues with this company, I emplore anyone to research elsewhere and use these guys as a last effort. Once work began a team was at our home at 7 am beginning work. That first day they parked several vehicles, a dumpster, plus supplies into our driveway. It blocked us into our home which was contradictory to what was specified. We were asked which side of the driveway should be left clear, we indicated the right side closest to the front door which was not honored. The pipe came loose and is just sitting in the attic under it (have pictures) but the most important aspect is gone. Called the company and it took many messages and calls to get someone to come out, their response was that the roof laborers must have thought it was a cooling vent being replaced by the ridge vents. They gave us an estimate for $675 for the work which is outrageous. Unfair and unprofessional plus we had two bathroom fans installed before the roof replacement that was a third of that price for the two. I reached out again trying to reach the owner but its been almost a week and nothing. Really this is a company to avoid, they want nothing to do with you after they get your money.
