I'm not sure how they got my contact info, but my computer was running slowly and they called and were able to speed it upThey loaded System Mechanic which seems useful, but I paid (unfortunately) almost $for virus protection and anti-hackingGot a call today about web hacking, then a slow process of the rep wanting to show me this or thatThe rep said 78% of my files were infected with Trojan csrss.exe and ran Google search which said it is a Trojan virusI later ran another search and it's an integral part of Window OS, though can get corruptedRan Windows Defender and Kaspersky deep scans and no indication that I have a csrss.exe problemI told the guy that when I paid for anti-hacking, I was not told I was only getting e-mail protection and not Internet protection which should have been included for the priceHe wanted me to pay another $225+ for web anti-hacking and I said no that I would go to someone local The guy was rude and I told him so Then he started carrying on that I was rude I couldn't get him to answer my question about what I'd paid for He was so rude, I told him I wasn't going to continue the conversation and hung up Then he started typing vulgarities on the notepad - *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** I couldn't get control of the cursor so I unplugged and took out the battery to cut him offThe guy had put a login to open my computer (probably a good idea) but I had to call back to get the loginI complained to the person who answered but he ended up hanging up on meDon't do business with these people unless you are willing to be abused

They are a scam. they ask for OS licensing info and secure PC info. Called the Delaware Licensing Bureau and they are not listed nor do they have a license to operate as a business in the state. Beware! the guy that called me said his name is August.

Review: DPGL has called me numerous times, both with misleading sales pitches. The first time they represented [redacted] and told me that my email address was sending out spam. If they didn't correct it my computer could be shut down. Therefore I let them inside my computer. They said that they could fix the problem, and showed me a "weakness" in my computer where hackers could easily access my passwords. (I found out later from [redacted] they could only have accessed that information from a software they installed). Then they gave me their sales pitch. in order to fix the problem I had to pay them. The first time I was taken in hook, line and sinker. Within 48 hours I had buyers regret, researched the company and found that they were scam artists. (I should NEVER have paid them) I immediately contacted them to cancel my service, then contacted my credit card company about this fraud and asked them to remove the charges, which they did.

In the past two weeks they have continued to call me, telling me that they were going out of business and they had to get into my computer in order to refund my money. I told them that I did not want them in my company and if they wanted to refund me, cut me a check and mail it. They said that they no longer could do that, the refund process had to be done online.Desired Settlement: If , as they say, I am a valued customer and they are trying to give me a refund because they are closing their business, then I want them to send me a check or use PayPal. There is NO WAY that I want them in my computer.

Review: Received phone call from person identifying his name "[redacted]" of DGPL Technologies and implied that my computer had been compromised and may have been attacked.

Sounded like a foreign person and somehow knew my email address. May have virus and asked me to go to my computer but I refused. Gave the man hard time and requested

he send an email with written notice of what he had said but he more or less refused. Did give me name and address but was very hard to understand. Believe to be a scam.Desired Settlement: No future attempts to contact me and delete my phone number contacted me with today and do not disclose to anyone else also!

Review: Purchased in April 2013, what was told to me a life time anti-virus protection for my computer. In April 2014, the protection expired and I was notified that I had to renew. Purchase price was $300, which I paid in two installments and was deposited to a DGPL Technologies account [redacted]Desired Settlement: just want my money back

Review: I was called and informed that my computer was failing and that they were authorized by Microsoft to Repair my computer. Somehow the got my telephone number and e-mail account and then while I was on the phone with them they got in my computer and changed a bunch of settings so I would have to call them back and sign up for their services. Did not fall for their trick and got my computer back on by myself. They told me that my computer was sending them reports that I have no knowledge of, and that my computer was about to fail.Desired Settlement: Just wanted to report what happened to me, they say they are reps involved with my computer because my computer is sending them reports to be fixed.

Review: These people called me to tell me I was owed a refund. They told me they couldn't process refund to my account unless I had a debit card. They then proceeded to tell me they would send me $3000.00 for a $200.00 refund if I would give them more imformation. I disconnected my computer and they hung up. This is the second time this has happened. They say they are going out of business and need to refund my internet security fee. They will not mail a chack. I can see why they are going out of business if this is their policy.Desired Settlement: They can mail me the $200.00 refund or they can stop harrassing me.

Review: The company continues to call me by phone. Each time a representative calls, I can hardly make out what is being said due to other people and noises on their end. Several times I have explained such to them and they cannot fix the problem.

Rudely, the representative explains that the company he is calling in regards to, is going out of business and needs to refund money back to me from a service I bought on August 9, 2013.

The representative further explains that he is trying to refund $ 259.00 to me. I actually bought the service through www.helpdesk4pc.com in the amount of only $ 125.00.

The representative further explains that I paid for the product using a Debit and/or Credit card and the only way that I can get the refund is to allow him to help me to enable him to get on my computer in order to refund the money.

I have told the representative several times on several occasions that I no longer am using the computer of which I originally had used helpdesk on. Including that I am no longer using the same debit/credit card of which I had back then, and as well have repeatedly ask them to stop calling me. I have told the representative several times in several calls to me, that if they owe me a refund, to send me a check in the mail.Desired Settlement: If they wish to refund money that they feel they owe me, send it to me through the United States Postal Service and to stop calling me.

Review: This company is TERRORIZING me calling me all hours of the day and night. Telling me I will never be able to use any computer tat my home location unless I pay them money.

They also hacked into my bank account and into a credit card and sent $400.00 plus $29.00 fee thru WESTERN UNION to [redacted] I have filed a police report for the theft and also for the

continued HARASSMENT.Desired Settlement: I would like to see this company shut down "Brad" who is the person calling me has told me he is going to rape me kill me unless I give them money.

Review: A guy who claims his name is [redacted] that works for this company called and said that their sattelites detected that my computer was full of hackers, and that they work for

the Revdex.com. He knew my email and other info on me. He had me do some things on my computer, saying it was to get the threats out so hackers couldn't continue to steal my info.

While doing this, he took over my computer. The mouse started going all over and he was typing websites in, and he was telling me that he was doing this. I'm afraid that he was the one accessing my personal info and stealing my information.Desired Settlement: Hope fully to find out that this place isn't stealing peoples identities, and stealing their bank info.

Review: This company contacted me on the phone and said "our computers/satelites indicate your computer is under attack from hackers". I did agree to let them in my computer based on this because I do not know much about these things. Next thing I know I have agreed to services that cost me $300 or more. I then had my friend come over and check it for me and there is nothing on my computer from this company at all. I would like my money back and whatever info they took off of it.Desired Settlement: Refund to my credit card and an apology

They are a scam. they ask for OS licensing info and secure PC info. Called the Delaware Licensing Bureau and they are not listed nor do they have a license to operate as a business in the state. Beware! the guy that called me said his name is August.

Review: This is a slick operation. They had my name, phone number and email address. They initially called at 7:30 AM and I asked them to call back thinking there was a problem. I was convinced that my computer had been compromised and that they were going to help me fix it. Initially, [redacted], mentioned my Google account, giving the impression that they were from Google. They convinced me to download a remote viewing software to access my computer. I was handed off to a "supervisor", Albert Dawson, who would then help me with the problem. I asked what she ([redacted]) had been doing this whole time. Albert indicated that it was a Microsoft security license authentication problem. After an hour, they offered a service contract.Desired Settlement: The company needs to be up front about the fact that this is a sales call and stop using scare tactics.

Review: someone from this company contacted me and said they were refunding my 400.00 that I had paid, they remotely accessed my computer and then had me access my bank account and transferred 2000.00 into my account and told me to go to western union and send the 1600.00 overage and my refund would be left. I refused and that's when things got ugly, they showed me a screenshot of my bank account zeroed out and I had over 6000.00 in my account before they went monkeying around my computer, he then blacked my screen out and told me that until I went to western union that I would not be able to use my computer and that my money was gone. Reluctantly I did what the man said and now I am out 2000.00 as this was a scam. I have screen shots on notepads on my computer that I would gladly supply as well as phone records to prove when all calls from this person was. The phone number I was contacted from is [redacted] Feb. 2, 2015 at 7:47 pm, est.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and to never hear from these people again

I'm not sure how they got my contact info, but my computer was running slowly and they called and were able to speed it up. He wanted me to pay another $225+ for web anti-hacking and I said no that I would go to someone local. The guy was rude and I told him so. Then he started carrying on that I was rude. I couldn't get him to answer my question about what I'd paid for. He was so rude, I told him I wasn't going to continue the conversation and hung up. Review: This is a money issue. Back In May of 2014 I was called and said I was going to recieve a refund from this company because they were going out of business. This was for a computor maintenance contract I was told. So they were to send me $1800.00. But to get this I was to send them by Western Union $1000.00 for a deposit. Well, I was very guallable and I fell for this. I started sending them different amounts of money, in the thousands, with a promise of a large refund. This has continued with differnet individuals from the Authorities of the US Embassey, India Embassey, India Police Dept. .

These people have sent me Certificates showing Individuals licenseand certifications. I believed in this to the point I have taken my retirement from IRA, borrowed money from banks and put myself in a bad financial position. I know it is all a scam. But I fell for this and now have got to try to get myself back to a comfortable position. All total I have paid them over $45,000 cash through Westerm Union or Money Gram. This money was sent to different individuals in China and India.

I know there is probably no way to get any of this money back, but I think it is time I report this to make sure this does not happen to others.

I continue to get phone calls from them saying I will get my money back but they allways ask for a transfer fee or deposit to cover transactions. I am not sending anymore money to anyone, period.Desired Settlement: I would love to get my money back. or any part of it.

Review: The person that called me said my computer was operating slow, that I needed to let him fix this. I told him my computer was operating just fine, it is not slow. He insisted that I needed to let him fix it and he had me on the phone for two hours as he was trying to do the repair. He also insisted that I needed to purchase a lifetime Software License for the amount of $300.00 in order for their company to do the repair once a year. I told him that this was a scam, he insisted it was not. It actually is a scam, I want my $300.00 returned to the credit card that he asked for.Desired Settlement: I would like the $300.00 either returned to me or my credit card, and I consider this matter closed. Thank you very much.
