Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The documents submitted do not reference any inspection made to any suspension components, they do reference an inspection allegedly made to the vehicle for collision damageI do not have any confidence in these documents as they also submitted invoices for a complete service, yet two weeks after I bought the vehicle the change oil light came on I changed the oil and it was as black as pavement , which tells me that this dealership is very deceptive in their practicesI would not recommend Don Chalmers to anyone who wishes not to get ripped off. Also I will just forward my concerns to the NM Attorney Generals office as I am done dealing with the incompetent liars at this dealership [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

After reviewing the inspection pictures and documents of the used car inspection performed there are no signs of any type of damage to the under carriage of the vehicleWe would be happy to review this information with the customerAlso there are no reports of early failure of ball joints in these vehicles and mostly likely caused by some kind of impact, so if the vehicle were still under warranty Ford would not have covered this under the factory warrantyFord would suggest the repair be turned into the customers insurance company and if the insurance company felt after inspection the failure was caused by a failed component then the insurance company would subrogate against [redacted] ** I would suggest the repair be turned into the insurance company

We would be happy to schedule a time to review the inspection process and the documents and pictures with the customer

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The dealership has the responsibility to ensure that the vehicles they are selling to any customer should be safe and free from defects.  Don Chalmers claims that they have pictures and inspection reports of when the did the inspection of the vehicle prior to placing the vehicle on the market.  I would like a copy of this documentation, since it does pertain to the vehicle the sold to me. I am not convinced that the dealership does not have fault in selling me a defective vehicle that suffered a catastrophic failure just as the factory warranty expires, very suspect! Also due to the fact that they are claiming that my wife was the sole reason the the vehicle failed and are not willing to take responsibility, basically trying to say that my wife is at fault is both asinine and offensive.  A representative was not there at the time of the incident, unlike several of my wives coworkers who did witness the ball joint failure. Plus they are lucky that my children were not in the defective vehicle and it was not going more that 20 MPH.Don Chalmers is very shady in their business practices as I am finding out and as I an sure the NM Attorney Generals office will happy to look into also.

vehicles and mostly likely caused by some kind of impact, so if the vehicle were still under warranty Ford would not have covered this under the factory warranty. I would suggest the repair be turned into the insurance company.
