D.H. Smith Inc.

I hired D.H. Smith Inc. Roofing to put a new roof on my house. As part of this agreement, [redacted] Smith, agreed to remove all gutter guards and to vent the bathroom fan outside. In fact, the removal of the gutter guards was [redacted] Smith's idea. I noticed that the gutter guards were not removed from my house after paying D.H. Smith Inc. Roofing in full. I contacted [redacted] Smith on several occasions via email and by phone and he told me several times he would send someone to my house to take care of this. I have emails proving that he agreed to come back and do this work, but no one from D.H. Smith Inc. Roofing ever came to my house to remove the guards and vent the bathroom fan outside. I discovered that the bathroom fan in my house was not vented outside after an energy audit by mass saves. The auditor noted on his report that my bathroom fan is not vented outside. [redacted] Smith has failed to fulfill the agreement we have and continues to tell me that he or someone from his company will be coming to finish the work, but clearly he has no intention of coming back to finish the job. I paid him in full and he failed to honor our agreement and I have proof. I have emails proving that he failed to fulfill our agreement and I can produce copies of the checks he cashed along with the signed contract.
