We had hail damage to our roof and old aluminum siding in Aug DHG Consulting assessed the damage done by the storm and were present when the insurance adjustor came to the house to make an assessment of the damage This helped facilitate our claim With respect to the damage done to the siding, the insurance company was not able to match the old siding DHG Consulting again worked with us and the insurance company to pick an alternative product (insulated craneboard) which we are very happy with Numerous homes in our area were affected by this storm and it was not until October that we were able to start replacing the roof Siding work quickly followed and DHG Consulting monitored the work and made sure that the water proofing wrap was done correctly Again, because of the number of homes damaged in our area, it was difficult to schedule city inspectors to review and approve the various stages of the repair DHG Consulting photo documented the work to help facility this inspection/approval process We decided have some outside electric work done and to replace the old gutters with new covered ones DHG found subcontractors to do this work at a very reasonable price Excluding the gutter upgrade, all of the work fell within the insurance claim amount Winter came early this year and I believe that it because of their management of the project, we were able to have all of the work done before our first snow storm Other homes in our neighborhood were still having their roofs replaced DHG Consulting did an excellent job representing us with the insurance company and the city inspectors office as well as managing the different contractors that performed the work One final comment: This winter left a several inch thick ice dam on one part of our roof and we never did have a warm enough day after the roof was replaced to completely seal the shingles On a very warm Sunday afternoon in March, we noticed water coming into one of our windows I called DHG Consulting and they were out to our home within an hour They spent the next couple of hours clearing the ice from the roof and stopped the leak They told me that they will be back in the spring to investigate the problem and address it I am confident that they will
