I ordered a futon that was under MAINSTAY with walmart.com. I got it and found it was actually from DHP furniture. The website I bought it at said "SOME assembly required". we got this FUTON in a huge BOX and it was ALL in pieces except the frames. We had to put the WHOLE thing together and they said USE a MALLET to put the PLASTIC covers on the ARMS..we dont OWN a MALLET...the manual also said " only takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to put together...
well thats ONLY if you have several people doing it. IT took my self and my senior mom a total of 6 days...3 hours one day 3 hours the next day to put it together. I made sure ALL the screws were as tight as possible. We went to sit on it...I kept hearing a clanking noise like metal hitting metal and I could not figure out why.
I also kept getting scratches on the back of my legs and found the bars that we had to screw into the frames was scratching me.
Then a day later I thought it was funny I was still hearing what sounded like metal hitting metal and I looked around and I found the bar underneath that connects the arms together going across the bottom was actually detaching from the ARM. none of the other ones were and when I went to see if it just needed tighting..NOPE...cant tighten it anymore then it is.
I spent HOURS on the phone for DAYS trying to get them to figure this out...then they said "oh send us pictures so we can see whats going but sorry we are not sending out replacements". I had to use MY DATA usage on MY Phone without reimbursement to send them pictures and they kept denying they were getting the photos...THEN I get an EMAIL from Andres who said "well we will refund you 146 dollars but you have to sign a release stating you wont go after us again".
Well WHAT am I suppose to do with this piece of JUNK that did not even stay CONNECTED for a DAY...so NOW I have to figure out WHERE and HOW to get a COUCH..and PAY for DELIVERY..and THIS COMPANY ..and their customer service/repair department DONT CARE. IGNORANT RUDE PEOPLE!

I am highly pissed off b/c I bought three loft beds. All three beds were missing end caps and one bed was missing most of the screws. I did everything that I was supposed to do but I got no help in replacing these items. I shouldn’t have to come out of my pockets for anything more. I am highly disappointed with their services and they need to do better!

I bought a day bed from this company.I had it mostly assembled and discovered it was missing 6 bolts to assemble the trundle.I contacted the company and was told I needed to take pictures of the box and send a scan of receipts from target. I explained to them that I am old and not good with technology and it was just 6 Chinese bolts.The woman I talked to seemed very protective of the Chinese bolt supplies and said no bolts for you.I asked her if they have a big problem with people trying to fraudulently obtain Chinese bolts and laughed.She said “I’m glad you think this is funny”It was like talking with a piece of wood.People may be scamming them for Chinese bolts to trade on the black market or trading them for fentanyl but I doubt it.I ended up going to the local hardware and buying bolts for 7 bucks because it was easier than packing the whole thing up and sending it back after 2 hours of assembly and I suspect they know that.I don’t even own a computer so they made it difficult and I eventually caved and brought my own parts.

I contacted this company to get a replacement part. They said they don't sell replacement parts, but during the warranty you can get one for free. After that, you can't even purchase them as "they don't sell replacement parts" they only give them out under warranty. I was told I had to buy a whole new piece of furniture. If they have them to give away under warranty, why can't they sell them? Shady way to get you to have to buy another whole piece of furniture.

We advised you we don't have replacement parts for tables, and gave you two options. One to return it back to the retailer for an exchange or the second option was to open a claim for a refund. We send you an email requesting the required information and you were unable to send the information. Again we tried to help you and you did not cooperated.

We bought a Kelsey Daybed with a trundle that we can't even put together because it started falling apart as soon as we tried to assemble it. My husband has worked construction his whole life and has no problem assembling things but said this was ridiculous. When I contacted customer service they wanted me to jump through all these hoops with pictures of the bed, a white sticker, and the broken part. I can understand the proof of purchase. Should I send them a picture of the bed in pieces in my garage? We can't put it together because it broke before we could get very far.
