Dear Mr***,At the time of the order you indicated by check-marking a box that you had read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of our offerThe Terms and Conditions were then also reiterated on the confirmation page that automatically comes up after the order is processedIt appears that you chose not to read any of the information provided to youThat is unfortunate, but you being unaware of your obligation to cancel is not the fault of Grant Approval NetworkWe provided you with a service and with any other company that provides a service that cannot be "returned", we have a refund policy that reflects the services renderedThe fact that you never logged into the web site does not negate the service provided nor our refund policy.Mr***, we felt we have been very fair regarding the approximate 50% of refunds issued to you, considering you waited several months to contact usNo further refunds will be issued.Thank you, [redacted] ***

Dear Ms***,Our server recorded that you placed an order for our services on 4/3/You check-marked a box indicating that you had read and agreed to the terms of our offer prior to submitting the orderThose terms stated that you were being sent a CD on the grant approval process for a
billing of $shipping and processingIt also detailed that you were being provided a username and password for a 10-day trial period of access to the online Member Resource CenterIt stated that if you did not contact us to cancel within that timeframe, that you would be billed the membership fee of $Our server recorded that you logged onto the Member Resource Center on 4/4/and viewed a lesson on the government proposal writing courseWhen we did not receive a request to cancel, per the terms you agreed to on the order date, your credit card was charged $on 4/13/16.On 4/14/16, you contacted us to request a refundYou advised the agent that you had previously cancelled through the web site and should not have been chargedThe agent tried to advise you that according to our records, no request had been made, which is why you were billedSince you stated that you had saved a screen shot of the cancellation, the agent requested that you email that to us so that we could research the situation and ensure that our cancellation option online was working properlyIt was at that time that you stated that you would not send the screenshot, but requested a refund and a supervisorWe are looking into the situation to determine why one was not available at the time of your request. To date, we have not received a screenshot of your cancellation.Ms***, you called back and spoke with a second agent who advised you that you were receiving a refund for the charge and explained why we were requesting a screenshot of the cancellationAgain, it was not to approve or deny your request, but rather to ensure that we were not having technical difficulties on our web siteYou seemed very satisfied at the end of the conversation with the second representative, since you were advised that a refund was being issued, and your concerns regarding your conversation with the previous agent were being addressedTherefore, I am confused as to why you filed a complaint with the Revdex.comAs stated during the second conversation, your credit card was refunded $and you were advised to allow 5-business days for the refund to post to your accountAccess to the site was also terminated to prevent any further charges.I do hope this satisfies your request.Thank you,Anne Deeb

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/31) */
Dear Mr***,
It appears that you have may have misunderstood how the order process and trial period for our program worksWhen a customer places the order online, they type in all of their information which includes the mailing address
Our server recorded that you called us immediately after placing your order and stated that you had forgotten to list your apartment number on the order page, and the agent you spoke with updated your account
Also, please be advised that the $billing that we bill is not for the CD that is mailed out to youWhen you placed the order you agreed to our Terms and Conditions which stated that you were being provided a username and password for the 10-day trial of access to our web siteTherefore, the trial does start on the order date as you are given the login information on that day, both on the confirmation page as well as in the confirmation email that is automatically sentThe email address we have on file is the same as what you input into your complaint with the Revdex.com, so if you did not receive it, you may have a mail filter that didn't allow the retrieval of itUnfortunately, we were unaware that you did not receive the email and did not know your login information, as we did not receive further contact from you until you cancelled on 8/28/
Mr***, since you cancelled the account on the same day as billing, the $charge was voided and did not post to your accountTherefore, there is no refund that can be processedYou may keep the CD
Thank you,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I don't agree with their answer, because of the simple fact, trust it's not my responsibility to be calling them for a password ** use the systemThey said they were email me and they never did,the CD arrived in a Tuesday, with the information to log in, meaning I now have days to cancelThat was notthew not the caseMy money was refunded, so I'm good nowJust to add, they have the worse customer service ever
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 8, 2015/09/04) */

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I believe that as a consumer, I should be treated fairlyYour "service" provides information on grant writing in the form of access to a website you must log ontoI can tell you the obvious sign that I had no idea you were charging meI never logged inFor the three months you charged me for the service I not once heard from your companyAs a premium of 79.97$/mnth I believe any consumer could expect a little more how do you say, concernThe fine print in your sales pitch is the oldest trick and I really didn't intend to send you five dollars for an intro c.djust to have to make a commitment to your company to call and cancel or you just assume I'm happy with your productIt's pretty carelessI would like a full refundFor the three months charges of 79.97$After doing some research into your company I managed to locate your L.L.CI had to file a claim here because as I was told you would not provide me a full refundYour policy on refunds is at your discretion and a private policyI believe that you stated that this could have been resolved without my complaint, well I do believe now is a good time to resolve it alsoThanks for the C.Dthats all I intended to buyAnd thats the gist of this actionI feel that these charges were hidden from my knowledge and I feel it's kinda obvious that you guys do that sort of thing.
Sincerely,

The offer stated that if you chose not to cancel within 10 days, your credit card would be billed the monthly membership fee of $79.97. You may visit grantapprovalnetwork.com to review the page and see what you did agree to when placing the order. On 6/15/16, you contacted our Customer Service Department to cancel your account and request refunds. The representative explained in detail how the order was placed, what you agreed to when placing the order, what services we offer (that you must log in to utilize), and a refund of approximately 50% of the membership fees, even though you were cancelling well beyond our refund policy.
