I had made arrangements for Tri State to pick me up at the [redacted] and transport me to [redacted] Arizona on 3/31/12. The plane I was to leave [redacted] on had problems and the flight did not leave [redacted] in time to make the shuttle. I tried to call Tri State on my cell phone and got a voice mail system that did not allow the option of leaving a message. My dad tried to call in [redacted] and got the same voice mail system with no way to leave a message, leaving my elderly parents worried about me and how I would make the trip. When I arrived at [redacted], the shuttle was no where in site. I tried to call again and got the same voice mail system with no way to leave a message. I then contacted another shuttle company who came after me. Today, I phoned Tri State and began my conversation by saying I'd like to give them the opportunity to do the right thing. The gentleman immediately became defensive and basically said there would be no refunds for no shows within 72 hours. I had no way to contact them. I don't even a method of proving that they actually came to [redacted] because they certainly did not try to contact me on my cell phone before they "left." When I said to the gentleman on the phone that he had the opportunity to look good in front of a lot of people, his reply was "that's blackmail." Then he laughed. I know plenty of snowbirds, all of whom were worried about my safety. They already know that Tri State left me stranded without so much as a phone call.
