Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2018/03/11) */ DIAMOND A MOTEL DBA - Stoho Enterprises, Inc SUS Hwy N- McDermitt, NV PO BOX - McDermitt, NV 775-532- March 10, To Whom it May Concern: [redacted] Desired Settlement Thank you for contacting us and letting us know the situation that has reportedThis person is well remembered by my staffShe was rude and had very high expectations from a small room motel that is very old and outdated in our little town of peopleOur rooms are clean to the best of the ability of the staff and if there is an issue with a room, the staff tries very hard to accommodate the guest/sWhich is why she was offered a second room that she also refused Before I go any further I would like to mention two thingsThere is an 8.5" x11" sign on the counter that says " REFUNDS ARE COMPLETELY AT MANAGER'S DISCRETION" PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR ROOM BEFORE RENTINGThis sign was made because people come to our little motel (motel means the doors open to the outside environment which means when you walk in, you bring outside debris inside the room) and expect to have high class accommodationsWe do our best to keep rooms clean and comfortable for our guests, but we are no Hilton The customer also failed to mention that after her outbursts, she demanded a refundThe refunds are at my discretion and I did not authorize one, however the young man that was dealing with this particular customer, gave her $cash refundSo, the $charge on her 1st room (that she had brought her dog into and tore the bed apart) was refunded to her without authorization, none-the-less she was given $cash which cancelled out the transactionSince the authorization was never given for a refund, the $was then chargedIf she did not have money in her account to cover the room charge, that is not my issue I am sorry that the customer feels we owe her, but we feel we are under no obligation to be refunding her any monies Thank you, [redacted] - General Manager [redacted] ***

contacting us and letting us know the situation that has reported. This person is well remembered by my staff. She was rude and had very high expectations from a small 11 room motel that is very old and outdated in our little town of 350 people. Our rooms are clean to the best of the ability of the staff and if there is an issue with a room, the staff tries very hard to accommodate the guest/s. Which is why she was offered a second room that she also refused.
Before I go any further I would like to mention two things. There is an 8.5" x11" sign on the counter that says " REFUNDS ARE COMPLETELY AT MANAGER'S DISCRETION" PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR ROOM BEFORE RENTING. So, the $40 charge on her 1st room (that she had brought her dog into and tore the bed apart) was refunded to her without authorization, none-the-less she was given $40 cash which cancelled out the transaction. Since the authorization was never given for a refund, the $40 was then charged. If she did not have money in her account to cover the room charge, that is not my issue.
I am sorry that the customer feels we owe her, but we feel we are under no obligation to be refunding her any monies.
