May 7, Our response to the complaint is as follows:The complainant hired us to perform a service for him close to three years ago, signed an engagement letter with us and gave us a deposit for the work to be performedWe performed the work and issued our product which was
accepted by the complainantWe progressed billed as the work was being completed and the complainant paid the progress billOur final bill was sent to the complainant when the work was completed.Our work was acceptable to the complainantThis is evidenced by the fact he hired us to do additional work shortly after the first work product was completed and accepted by the complainantBefore starting the additional work the complainant agreed to pay us for both the balance from the original work and the additional servicesThe additional work was completed by us and accepted by the complainant, We billed for the additional work and the complainant has not paid* The complainant received bills for the work performed and we have been sending statements for over two years on the unpaid balance, Not once has the complainant called us to ask for additional informationNot once has there been any communication from the complainant regarding the work performed, our billings or our statementsThe complainant has ignored our statements for over two years.Very truly yours

Review: I believe the Contract that Diamond Associates created with me was overreaching. I believe their confirmation letter to me shows it to be an unconscionable contract. I think it will be shown to be unenforceable. As of today they want a lot more money from me $6,431.73 which is compounded interest on what they claim is the open balance of an old invoice, which they have yet to provide me. What they have sent me is a statement of accrued interest. A CPA of the firm told me at the time I signed the contract the services would cost me an estimated $2,500.00. I had paid this firm a total of $6000.00 for their services before all the documents and accounting work had been done. At that time when that work was done my total of services done was $4876.50. I have yet to see any invoice that shows how and when my credit balance went in their favor and what else they did The first and only two Diamond Associates invoices I do have show only dates and very scant descriptions of "Professional Services Rendered". There is no listing or break down in hours worked or who performed what services at what rates. When one reads their billing policy one clearly is given the impression such information will be shown on an invoice. But in my case there is no such information, no calculations, absolutely nothing but an invoice total. A statement page has a line item "invoice" and a total figure behind it. That's all they put.When asked to provide the information as to how much time and who performed what work and what the calculations were to arrive at the invoice figure. I received nothing. They did not even permit me to see so as proof read finished copies of the work they sent the Attorney. They did provide finished documents to my Attorneys associate. To add insult to injury they send their statements to Mr & Mrs. The Mrs. was never a party to any of this. Never spoke, corresponded, or meet with any one from Diamond Associates. Moreover has nothing to do with this matter or the contract with Diamond Associate.Desired Settlement: This company stops attempting to bill me for the questionable and inflated services they claim. Most of which is their interest charges.
