Review: On 2/21/2012 Diamond Auto instilled a steering rack in my vehicle -1998 Acura RL 4D SED Special Edition. On 6/8/2013 I notice tire wear on the vehicle – [redacted] they had a 4 wheel alignment & tire balance special that week so I carried the vehicle there for service. I requested an alignment due to tire wear. After inspecting the vehicle the Ser. Tech. advised me that an alignment wound not correct the tire wear problem. He found the rack bushing rotten from oil and recommend installing new bushing and an alignment for $505.00 On 6/18/2013 I carried my vehicle back to Diamond Auto and advised them of [redacted] findings. after ((Diamond Auto) Tech. ([redacted]) had finished inspecting me vehicle. The Owner ([redacted]), Service Mgr. [redacted] call me back to the inspection area, they insisted that there was nothing wrong with the rack/ rack bushing and my problem was due to bad control arms and they recommend replacing the RT & LT control arms for $1,071.90 On 6/19/2013 [redacted] (###-###-####) re-inspected the vehicle and their finding was same as previously / the vehicle still need new bushing and an alignment and the Ser. Tech stated he didn’t see anything wrong with the control arms at this time. On 6/20/2013 I carried my vehicle to [redacted] ([redacted]) [redacted] (###-###-####) to get another opinion, after a 30 point suspension & steering evaluation the Ser. Tech advised me of the following the vehicle need rack/ rack busing and rack bolts were missing. Note: I have written estimates (documents) from all of the above parties

Note: prior to receiving the estimate to replace the control arms from Service Mgr. [redacted]. The owner ([redacted]) asked me if my vehicle was drifting all over the road. I stated no that I was not experiencing any issues like that just tire wear. However the very next day while driving my vehicle on 495 North to Instate 270 North at the posted speed limit (55) when a vehicle pulled in front of me causing me to apply my breaks. I experienced a violent pulling in my vehicle steering also I found myself drifting out of my lane every time I would apply my break at this speed. This had never happened prior to carrying my vehicle to ((Diamond Auto) what a coincident that this incident occurred the following day. I also notice that my steering wheel inside the vehicle had a whole lot of play in it and my vehicle feel like it was out of alignment at this time.Desired Settlement: I desire to have (Diamond Auto ) to make good on their responsibility on providing good quality service to every customer in the community by replacing the rack/ rack busing on my vehicle; according to [redacted] & [redacted]s my vehicle is unsafe to drive …

Note: regardless of your finding I just want someone to know that this has been one of the most challenging experiences I have ever had to endure; as a consumer dealing with what I believe to be an unfair, deceptive and downright dishonest practice by this vendor.
